  3. I think that reporting near misses is Important any thing that prevents an incident in the future has to help I think that what is important is filtering the near misses from daft things to the important things, some near misses could show a pattern of bad working practice and need to be addressed others may just mean you put the wrong pair of gloves on for the thorn hedge

  11. Mine is an old Hilux not with the new style Common Rail engine in it is not recommended to get petrol near the new style diesel engines. I only do this every six months or so it helps to clean the pipes and injectors out it seams to work better than redex, I tried that and it made no difference
  12. That is so cool he will go far with skills like that, Well done
  13. I have just had the same happen to mine Take the plug out if it is black and sooty Change the plug and then put a new air filter in It should work OK then On the smaller Izzy you will need to change the air filter quite often The air filters get dirty very quickly and it has the same effect as running it on half choke
  14. I often put a gallon of petrol in my Hilux Cleans the injectors out a treat and the fuel lines
  15. Many Years ago it was encouraged to use a black paint on cuts, I think it was called arborex or arborseal a bit like tar. This is now old school as it seals bad things in to the wound
