I think that there is just as much a a chance of the tree going over and knocking the mewp, as there is of the tree falling over with you in it. Assess the risk (personally). If you is not happy then don't do it and walk away. As mentioned earlier the tree is tied off, and your weight is not going to make alot of difference.

Does anybody have S.D.S for diesel, petrol, and chain oil that i can blatantly steel. I have found some on-line but the are 100's of pages long, and my poor printer will go into melt down.

The bargains were few and far between. I did get to try the new scarpa boots, and then buy. Review to follow in the next couple of months. There is only a couple of mm on the pads, and as i had it apart i thought i would replace them.

Don't leave too thick a hinge, or it will split. I would dog tooth it if it is leaning. Or let it fall by itself which would be the safest option assuming there is no footpaths or road near by
