  3. If you leave it in the round, all you will have is wood that is the same moisture content, and species like Sycamore or birch will show extensive rot.   17. Alot of the Ash trees around here have alread started to shed their leaves.
  18. If it had fruited well last year, then sometimes the following year you get very little. Or it could have been a late frost that killed the blossom, or all the heavy rain washed away the pollen so no fertalization.
