    Milled Elm planks, approx 25-27" wide and about 10' long 2x 4" thick planks 1x 6" thick planks 1x 2" thick plank Location is a long way west in west Wales. I would have taken more pickies, but it was pouring down when i milled them, and the phone battery died today.

    I found this on holiday, and it is not in any of my books. Anyone any bright ideas ? It is growing about 30'up, only on the pine cones. None of the cones on the ground had this fungi growing out of them.

    Wash your ropes in the washing machine with some pure soap flakes, that will shift most of it.
