  13. Thats a bit on the high side, then again, whats the digging like - if its through an old garage base and along an old wall footing then its pretty cheap!
  14. Nice job John, if you get many more coming in (which you probably will looking at the work) invest in a paslode nail gun, sooooo much easier!
  15. I think the shadow is being made by this chap....
  16. John, I thinnk £2-3 per inch is about the going rate, with a minimu charge of whatever the firm has to earn to cover costs which is normally btween £50-100. Pricing per inch can come unstuck on larger stumps over around 2ft as they generally have larger butresses that arnt visible from above ground. Other factors include access for machines, if you can get in a larger HP machine etc and obviously number of stumps on site, and depth of grinding required. I prefer to quote per stump, 9/10 we have taken the tree down anyway so I will have seen the stump before hand.
  17. Here's mine, and its for sale...any serious offer accepted!
  18. If you need any help call in and see me Charlie. Which road is it on?
  19. Kept a nice shape there Barry, dont you hate climbing them long bean poles!
  20. I think you can do C1 for just under a grand but you would still only be able to tow up to 750kg
  21. one of our 5 year old TW150's got part x'd with 1600+ hours on it.
  22. "We've trimmed your bush Mrs Muff" Classic mate!
  23. Great shots Tony!, do we think they are saw cuts into the third pic?
  24. The client is worried the large low limb is going to fail when he's cutting his lawn, the tree has already been reduced in the past.
