We are currently growing the consultancy area of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to progress in their career. The role: Supporting our Principal Consultant, the successful candidate will be responsible for: •Undertaking tree surveys to the requirements of BS5837:2012. •Complete tree health surveys and inspections. •Work with and on behalf of our clients with regards to tree protection. •Prepare specifications for Arboricultural works, followed by the supervision of contractors. •Assist our marketing/sales team to successfully gain new clients, and prepare quotations and proposals. The person: Must be self-motivated, organised with a desire to progress in our business and the industry. •FdSc Arb, BSc or PDArb in Arboriculture or equivalent professional qualification. •LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector Certificate (desirable). •Membership of a relevant professional body such as ICF, RICS, Arboricultural Association. •Full driving license. •Ability to use existing and learn new software, including GPS, CAD. •Experience in decay detection devices and air spade. We are looking for a machine operator for our Skid Steer Forestry Mulcher . The position will require the following certification: CPCS Skid Steer NPTC Flail/Mulcher A HGV Drivers License would also be beneficial. Experience and tickets for 360 excavators also beneficial.
