  1. Which ones?, we probably made a bit from the chip but not enough for a pint!
  2. Isnt it more like surrounding climate control?
  3. The next job... Overgrown and unmaintained garden to clear, fit 3 small radius planters and a larger radius and sleeper planter to rear, lay gravel. We fitted the fences a few months before. Would have been nice to have done the planting on this one too but the customer wanted to finish it off. (the pointing on the Radius is still to be completed on the picture)
  4. Ha ha, the fence is only 1.2m high the giant that is Liam could step straight over it!
  5. There were 2 transits of turf and the tree lads came and chipped the brash. All of our waste goes back to the yard and sorted, it gets graded and usually ends up being used on another site.
  6. Once the site is clear we errected the fence and laid the turf...
  7. We have a selection of landscaping pictures with before and after shots, thought I'd start our own thread rather than derailing someone elses! The first set are a garden clearing, installation of security fence and returf, we also relaid the path for the lady...
  8. Went back this week to finish the planters by putting in the herbs and had a bit of community involvement from the residents...
  9. A few pictures of the guys sectional felling a Eucalyptus today, sunshine heaven!
  10. The dust etc from the saws goes through it into a bin below, stops all the mess on the work bench
  11. Is that May in the Stihl callender?
  12. Awsome Jen, Cider is pretty toxic!! Have you scrored the base of mushroom
  13. Blow down bay with airline for maintenance of saws. Handwash and barrier cream, first aid and eye wash station...and clock in machine!!
  14. Just what kind of show are you having Justin??
  15. Maybe it was the telcom climber that got his wires crossed - thats why ha's started doing tree work
  16. Pm me your CV if your willing to travel to Coventry.
  17. Look at the AAAC scheme requirements on the Arb Assoc website this gives a list of things that they require you to have in place to gain approval. I would consider this the bench mark to work on.
  18. I dont thing the instrucotrs have the time within the course to teach anything more than the basics ready for assessment. If the climbers are a little more experienced the instructors may have a little more time to teach some more advanced methods.
  19. I'm sure if you speak to the assessors they could put together a refresher course to cover the areas you feel updating.
  20. The guy's house and grounds are fantastic, and he's a nice chap too - one of the rare customers that listens to your advice with regard to tree health and the environment etc rather than just instructing you on what he thinks is right! It was a shame the Cedar had to be felled, it was dropping needles into his swimming pool and hanging over his solar panels (see pic of them on the roof of the pool house!) Hopefully got some more work for him later in the year
  21. Depends on the scope of your equipment, with a few kits maybe more cost effective for you to get an inspector in for by the hour/day
  22. Speak to Richard at kingswood training, he did 2 of our guys earlier this year.
  23. Cheers for the advice, all work has been put on hold pending a wildlife assessment around August time.
