Some intersting pics there Stevie. What is the tonnage of timber that goes through the place? -
Looks like an aphid causing leaf curl. Insecticides that move systemically within the leaf or plant provide the best control.

Felled the remaining trunk now that the birds have flow the nest, managed to extract them out in 8ft lengths - got to decide what to do with them now, any offers?!

The guy said you can pick up a reasonable one for about £200, obviously they range through to the all singing and dancing costing £1000's with print outs, MP3 attachments etc! Do you have anyone locally that could come accross one evening with one and have a play?
