  2. Matt "rigging king" Hirons did the dismantle and Ady "the squirrell" Grundy did the reduction and thin.... ...it may possibly be Steve "the grinder" Bullman doing the stump in the morning
  3. The reduction was completed today followed by a thin to Beech a bit further down the road, just the stump to grind now

  5. Its 11t mate, quite a compact little lorry feels no bigger than our 7.5 tonner.

  7. Pictures from todays job, felled two Beech trees, just got to go back and grind out the stumps. Guy over the road took all the smaller cordwood for his fire and we lifted the trunks out with the hiab - these may be ok for Rob D's mill at the APF??
  8. Looking for someone process the timber in my yard on a price or day rate. The yard is in Coventry.
  9. No mate just some Derbeyshire white, we got the roller on compacated down well and it doesnt move, having said that there is about 100t of type 1 under it!

  12. I understand what your saying, why turn down the chance to quote? If your more professional therefore probably more efficient and better equipped you may be the cheapest anyway?
  13. Aerial rescue provision is not just about chainsaw injuries, there are a lot more incidents that may require a rescue to be performed - such as a blow to the head causing unconciousness.

  22. The other team had it mate, plus it was only taken off in small(ish!) bits!, this was obviously after the lime fell by 11.30: Did you use the Hobbs today...?
  23. Lime tree pollard completed today, 2 climbers worked together as it was multi stemmed and over a building so some of it had to be rigged down.
