  1. We were asked to fell this memorial tree by a developer, with a bit of gentle persuasion they agreed to have it relocated within the site. We employed Ruskins to move undertake the work. They did an excellent tidy job

Our new grinder has arrived, we have brought a Bandit HB20 Sidewinder to grind out those hard to reach back garden stumps (its specification states its a 29" wide machine, we measured it and its really a 30" !)   7. Whatever the working relationship between manager and operative there should be a procedure in place in accordance with RIDDOR.

Maybe you should put yourself in the position of someone that has the resposibility of the safety of his guys and aspires to a zero injury record, there is always a symptom to a near miss or a accident, the more near misses that are logged and acted upon reduces the chances of harm to yourself or a fellow employee. You are a liability with you current attitude IMO.

  10. Large Conifer hedge reduce and trim, surrounding Peugeot factory. We reduced them a few years ago, back to repeat the job! (All the open topped buses were booked out so we had to use the mewp!)

  12. Never seen it round here, can see the benefits - canteen downstairs, roofed area to shelter from the rain, you could maybe get a couple of fares on the way to the job too! We used a genie which works just as well but requires traffic management - are you sure they dont need TM Rupe? surely they stop at very tree?   15. I'm all for promoting health and safety and working within the law, I undertake regular safety checks to ensure this happens. However, we are working on a site that the guys have to get a daily "permit to rake" in order to rake over soil ready for grass seed - seems a bit OTT to me!

  22. Mate, even if there only the size of a frozen pea, you get them trapped and it makes your eyes water!!!
  23. A couple of our 130 on the job at various locations, it doesnt get chance to play in the mud like yours though - not sure it would get out!
