Here are a couple of shots of the trees, they are causing a lot of mess for the neighbours as the mistletoe is dropping bits off all over the gardens!

I have inspected some Robinia trees that have a very heavy crop of Mistletoe within the canopy. What are peoples experience in the effects on the tree health if it is removed? What is the rate of the regrowth? Can it all be removed in one season?

While we were in Devon at new year we stumbled accross a box hidden in a pipe in the middle of nowehere, when we opened it we found it was a geocache: Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache. Geocaching > Getting Started with Geocaching Anyone into this or stumbled accross one before, makes a walk interesting if there is a "prize" at the end - there is probably one on your doorstep you didnt know about!! Maybe we could set up arbtalk geocaches throughout the country/world!!
