Un-official Harkie harness review

My team leader has a Harkie harness, all three of the buckles have been intermittently coming undone. Harkie are coming to collect as I am not happy with this. They have sent us a different harness to use in the meantime so cant fault the customer service. -

This year is the 45th National Amenity Arboriculture Conference and is being held at the University of Warwick on 18th-20th September 2011. Please see the link for more information: Amenity Conference - Arboricultural Association On the Sunday (18th) we will be undertaking a techincal demonstration working with The Absolute Arb Company. We will be giving demonstrations on arboricultural operations such as Road Traffic Management, Rigging, PUWER/LOLER, BS3998 - Pruning Standards etc. The aim of the demonstration will be to provide information on legal requirements/legislation, training, PPE etc. that should be in place when undertaking the particular operation, rather than solely completing a demonstration which we know a lot of people already see and do on a daily basis as part of there job. If anyone has anything specific they would like to see included in the demo or has any questions please feel free to contact me or the AA. Thanks Simon [email protected]

We are trialing the Harness, Coat and Spikes at the moment following a visit from Doug at Harkie. Good results so far!

Cheers - Its a Hobbs, I havent used a GRCS but would recommend the Hobbs anyday It was taken down a week ago but I think it was just a little late, it had lived for long enough with that restricted root system! Rich is right, it was Ed in the tree. I'll get a vid and post it just for you Stevie

I have just put a few of our guys through a days training followed by the test, most of the emphasis is on the actual driving on the road rather than the ability to reverse the trailer. The guy we used is a bit far from you though. Good luck!
