Yes some people are very gullible and never learn from there mistakes . Although the travelling people are taught pressure sales at a very early age ? If you have ever dealt with a travelling man you will notice how they invade your private space and continue to get closer and closer when talking to you . Pressure Pressure Pressure . Any one use the Sliky Root Saw for Tree Pruning , The Red One ? Just had a conversation and the outcome was ( Well if the root saw stays sharp cutting through dirty roots then tree pruning operations would not blunt the blade . So the blade would in theory last longer than a standard blade ? Or am I just way off point ? Maybe the teeth configuration are not suitable for Pruning

I spend a bit of time chatting to potential new customers while doing quotes . My thought is have a bit of chit chat and a laugh . Then when you leave the potential customer will be thinking arrrrggghhh he was nice ; ) Sad but works for me

We sell our logs at £50 for 250 logs , £100 for 500 logs . Mixed hard and softwood . All these loads are accurate to about 10 logs either way . We have bays set up which hold our smallest load of 250 logs . I have found new customers understand x amount of logs better than they do the cubic metre . Please bear in mind our logs come from Tree Work which is our main income and we do not buy in timber . All I want out of my log sales is my yard rent paid and a couple of holidays per year .
