  3. Only problem is that I take an absolute bloody age on quotes lol . All the best Paul
  4. I spend a bit of time chatting to potential new customers while doing quotes . My thought is have a bit of chit chat and a laugh . Then when you leave the potential customer will be thinking arrrrggghhh he was nice ; ) Sad but works for me
  5. Happy Days James Hoddy AKA Daddy
  6. We sell our logs at £50 for 250 logs , £100 for 500 logs . Mixed hard and softwood . All these loads are accurate to about 10 logs either way . We have bays set up which hold our smallest load of 250 logs . I have found new customers understand x amount of logs better than they do the cubic metre . Please bear in mind our logs come from Tree Work which is our main income and we do not buy in timber . All I want out of my log sales is my yard rent paid and a couple of holidays per year .

  19. Does this include blade sharpening ? Seems expensive to me
  20. After a careful dismantle of a large Oak I was gutted to drop my saw through the greenhouse roof circa 1994 A groundy broke my nose once lol . I can confirm I have kicked many a gnome and plant pot over . Im sure I am not alone when it comes to back garden jobs where the customer has a fetish for pot plants
  21. Yes agree they are very handy . My only moan would be they are an odd shape and awkward to transport . Especially when your loaded with chip / log . Has anybody got any cool ways of storing there trolley on the work truck , Roof rack or other ?
