  1. My mate Hutchy (Neil Hutchinson), who is a happily married joiner in the North Tyne valley, comes up as being a bloke who had one of his testicles bitten off when a love triangle erupted into violence! Ouch!
  2. Congratulations Peter. Nice one!
  3. Be good to see you again bro.
  4. Stripes were on in Fletcher Stewarts catalogue last year. Dickies ones and a Febreze spray strapped to each armpit are cheaper!
  5. Dickies do them in orange and yellow for about a tenner. They are great, but they STINK after about 1/2 a day. OK up a tree, not so OK for cheeky groundie in my vice-like headlock!
  6. Happy Birthday mate. It's only a number...
  7. Ditto above, and Frank's comments. Also, all the lads I know who have had hands and necks done wish they hadn't. Although chainsaw gloves would be cool...
  8. Just done an experiment. Checked my pocket - £3.20 in change (was wearing old Hiflex, not renowned for great longevity in the pocket wear department). Chipped for exactly 10 minutes with the Tinnywolf, and checked again - £3.10. So, 10p/minute = 60p/hour = £14.40/day = £5,270.40 per annum That's that sorted, then. Glad I could help.
  9. Missed this one! Happy Birthday Dean! 46 - Wow! How old is that in human years?!!!
  10. That Elm is in the wrong thread Matty. Stunt fell if ever I saw one!
  11. Looking GREAT John. But WTF is the point? Miniscule reductions fascinate me. And my customers! And more importantly, my accountant! Next thing you'll be telling me they wanted the chip left on site!
  12. Fantastic news Justin! Congratulations to you and Elaine. Free cigar with every chainsaw!
  13. Hope the headcam was on Mr. Coates.....
  14. I hear ya there Frank. Biggest buzz this year was knocking down those big sticks in my mates wood. Did Gavin get any big tree work? Anyone?
  15. Is there an old gits section? I'm 41. Look 25. Climb like 65.
  16. Knocking a chunky stem like that onto your own chips? I salute your cheeky genius professor Blair. That was a big butt for a tree that size mate. I'm going to hook up a Dremel with a skateboard to shift the timber from my jobs.
  17. Agreed. Well thought out Controlled Tsssk! Can we get back on topic please? I think Mr. Blair has a rhubarb patch to clearfell coming up, I've heard some of the stems have a nasty lean over a newly planted leek trench. The tension is building....
  18. Get a beer down you man! You've got the rest of your life to work! Well done mate.
  19. Silky Zubat has a tang on the scabbard which holds the saw in much better. I was wearing out Gomtaro scabbards for fun. They are crap. My 2nd generation (anti-twist buckles) Sawpod has weak velcro which is a PITA, but has been mentioned before and will surely be rectified in the 'Sawpod 3G'. Right Mr. Darbyshire? Awesome bit of kit. Truly awesome. Just don't wear it when nipping into the bank to pay a cheque in.....

My Mam keeps them Danny, and she would be happy to answer questions if you need. She's in Northumberland, though, and some of her stuff is heather honey. Lovely! Remember taking a swarm with her as a youngster. Bit of disco leg on that job, I can tell you!
  21. Man after my own heart Tom. (Managed to avoid the Tom Tom pun Tom.)
  22. Now you wouldn't want one of them bits in your eye.... Awesome Reg. Pushing the limits.
  23. Big tree Danny. Unless you are a dwarf? Was the ivy totally stripped?
