  4. If your just going to do normal pruning works probably best to leave it till summer but if your going to "pollard" it i dont think it will matter IMO its getting a hammering anyway so the wrong time of year aint going to make a world of differance. Cherrys always seem to end up looking crap when "pollarded"
  5. Thats what i was going to ask Simon, what sort of price did it cost to move it.
  6. That is so spot on. if it's got t its or tyres its trouble!!!!! Errrr in doors wouldnt agree though.
  7. Really!!! how have they done that then? they cant sort the problem of crap bearings and ally fan blades that snap off though!
  8. That look good Jonny, are you having it signed or just leaving it all shiney?
  9. That limb does look suspect and depending on what the owners want to do or are willing to pay for i would simply reduce that limb to a suitable point or remove the limb all together, remove the tarmac and mulch. If the car park isnt that busy a few car parking spaces lost wont make any differance then every ones a winner.
  10. Firm in Harrogate got turned over last night aswell, Landrover went with a load of saws in the back.
  11. Haha Steve, wondered if someone might be blaming Fred, yeah it was me, took t bousins chair home so some little tw@t wouldnt nick it but had to leave her rigged wit ladders for an early start:laugh1:
  12. GM for me aswell, i run a GM 220 and its great, next it will be a quad chip i think. The round blades are great last loades longer than flat ones.

  20. I would say that B\S the council cannot dictate who does the work on private property, Mr Bloggs himself can do it if he so wishes, provided he does it right of course.
  21. I used to suffer quite badly with cramp on a night time after a good days climbing, not any more. with me it was liquid intake, now i dring loades of water both through the day and when i get home, never sufer now:thumbup1:
