I have a 53 plate tipper, nothing fancy but not a nail either, fast and good on fuel. Like others have said first impressions and all that, the other thing is though if you HAVE to run around in an old nail you not charging enough, i dont see why i should have old or knackered stuff, the business should be able to pay for reasonable gear. 2 years im changing mine again for something like an 08 truck.
  11. Thanks mate:thumbup1:
  12. Some of the prices are crazy, it's either good but expensive or cheap rubbish. I dont buy and saws and the like of there any more simply because there either over priced rubbish or if there cheap normally nicked.
  13. I think any one thats been in the game more than a few years has used one single handed i know i do on a regular basis.
  14. It would be right up your street Steve, soft and quirky, just like you kent boys!!!!!
  15. I would say the person doing the work is liable, thats why we have insurance. If its some old guy with a b+q special they cant be that big anyway.
  16. i wouldnt worry about it, he will have an accident of some kind either to himself or one will go wrong and then he will have a big bill. Its easy cutting trees, there all pro's till it goes wrong.
  17. Yes of course we have but hey thats life, it wont be a pro and if it is they wont be doing it for long!
