  1. Get the echo and you won't be disappointed and you ll save money. It's a no brainer
  2. Don t waste your time or money
  3. Or dolmar 50cc or echo 501sx
  4. It's probably as bad as the Vermeer sc30 just a modified skid steer made into a pointless grinder. Or I could be wrong but a dedicated machine will always be more productive and worthwhile.
  5. When arb rep where thinking of doing the raptor I had it on demo side by side to my Jensen 530 on a job used it for an hr or so and was very impressed. Don t think anyone is doing them now but could be wrong. Have used the tw 230 and it's fantastic machine. Only one I have not used personally is the schiesling so get a demo of both of these but think the tw will win mainly on price.
  6. Having used all the above options I have to say the tw230 is the better machine. I owned a Jensen 530 before and if your looking to upgrade you ll see a vast improvement over a 530 and the other options mentioned. Or wait for the new tw 190 replacement that will be very interesting.
  7. Look at arborcut they have a few
  8. Try keith Irvine I ve sold him my old grinder. I know he has stock and seams like he's a genuine person and not like some dealers that will try and get out of everything.
  9. A zillion is for lanyard use only not for srt
  10. Yep it's a lot of money
  11. Camper Renault Mascott 4x4 - Pere Maimi - Off Road Engineering - Kits 4x4
  12. had this quote a few years ago for a cabstar. Nissan cabstar 45/150 cv folding cabin air conditioning comfort 6V battle 2900mm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------22192.92 Kit 4x4 ------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ 18,000.00 ---------------- 40.192.92 € OPTIONS Simple wheels 255/85/16 ------------------------------------------- ---------- ---- € 2,050.00 Rear differential lock ----------------------------------------------- --------- € 2800.00 - 7 wheels 750/16 --------------------------------------------- ------------------------- € 1600.00 -
  13. The bandit 2250 is excellent and you an get it in29inch wide so makes it more practical. Having owned a 252 for 6 years and used both machines your thinking of the bandit would be your best choice. Also dean at bandit is great to deal with.
  14. Tp has a dealer called osbournes in Hampshire near Romsey
  15. I had cooper at3 s on my d max. Fantastic tyres
  16. Worth looking at then as I am sure it was wider in the past i looked at it when it first came out. Quite a few years back now. You ll get a first class service from dean unlike some suppliers. I bought a used predator 350 from him highly recommend.
  17. The Jo beau is a great little grinder but unless they have changed they are very wide. When I had one on demo once it could not get through the gate. I would consider the fsi or predator machines.
  18. Had mine about 5-6 years they are fanastic
  19. I had a swb and it was fantastic had 2 transits before and would not have another. The pros definitely out weighed the cons. As 3 1/2 t tippers go I thought it was excellent. I put heavy duty springs on the back of mine so plod never knew what I was carrying.
  20. Mines a 130hp. They use existing tipping gear but all new base from hinge up. So use the old base subframe.
  21. Had this made for 3k from Boulder tippers. Contacted Solent they wanted over 7k.
  22. If mpg is important the Isuzu d max is a clear winner. Average 34 with occasional towing chipper/mewps etc and up to 42 on a long run. I also have cooper at3 tyres which are fairly aggressive all terrains
  23. Pm sent about my chipper. Having to sell up due to ill health
  24. Go to Boulder tippers in Tadley they will build you some I am sure.
  25. Get the cabstar. I ve got one it's fantastic had 2 transits before and definitely would not get another
