Ah no worries regarding axles wasn t having a go just so many arguments from people saying you need to have the right axle to have it with a 3500 gvw.

Gvw says so on the plate and v5 I ve seen a lot like it too.

Seams a lot I presume it will be an 90s machine but can t exactly remember when the stopped the 528 also no details of the hrs it's done. It may be worth putting a cheeky offer as its probably a great machine but not worth 7k as people have said there's newer Mach e out there for that sort of money. Check out arborcut s website also.

Nearly all tdi commercial discoverys i ve seen have a gross weight of 3500kgs so the axle issue is rubbish. It's a mine field getting a 110 to be rated at 3500kgs as everyone i ve spoken to say different things. I know sme people have just sent off there v5 with the change and it worked for them I tried without success. My series 2a swb is 3499kgs gross which i Understand is dvla s default for most land rovers gross weight. Providing you have the correct info on your v5 you can buy a plate and stamp it to match that's fine and fully legal.

Velocity. It was only a quick play but gave be confidence in it. It's the first time for me using srt. Brave move buying something like the rope runner straight away. I tried the wrench and hitch combo I like things just to work no messing about. I usually use a zig zag drt which is great I nderstand this can be used drt so maybe tryit out and the zig zag will be no more.

Had my first play on the rope runner today only a little one to start. It's fantastic and can already see how it will speed things up and be less stress on my already broken body. I am off on The Gambia trip this year so hopefully get it all set up right before I go.

Look for sticker on your inside of your doors. That's my size on my 2010 model. Don t know about yours but probably the same

Due to the width of the bfg s they ll probably hold it better which is a pain

I ve got a twin wheel cabstar just had a quote from paddington springs at £400 inc fitting. The bfg tyres you have on may cause issues regarding insurance and mot time as they are not c rated and suitable for that vechicle. I know it's strange as you can easily have them on a Landy tipper but officially not others. Maybe worth swapping them for general euro winter tyres instead. I am having mine fitted next week.

They are great trucks I am now replacing mine with a cabstar hopefully won t regret it as is been a great truck. Got some one looking tomorrow I am sure they won t be disappointed

There great machines I ve had mine nearly 4 yrs was a ex demo never had much issues. I also have a predator 350 for the small access jobs but do my best to fit the 252 in instead. Have thought about upgrading but don t really do enough stumps to warrant it. I would say get the better machine that's done less work I am Sure it will be cheaper in the long run.
