  1. Its Darwinism at work and as far as the industry rep goes, I only have control over the bit I operate so I don't worry about the rest. There are plenty of tube vids on here where members (professionals) ridicule non professionals so if they think that's OK why isn't laughing at "professionals" OK?
  2. That is sooo funny
  3. Antal make the rings, X rings is a re badge I bought mine from the chandlers and spliced them into whoopee slings. They work a treat, they are smooth but there is just enough friction in them that makes itself useful. Compared to pulley blocks they weigh next to nothing and you can chuck them about like you wouldn't dare with a block. I dropped one to the ground last Sunday with no ill effects whatsoever, cant do that with a pinto rig.
  4. Stop thinking start buying You wont regret it
  5. Plenty of boxes where I am and the cadets were out in force on the weekend
  6. It should just push out on a mild interference fit. Don't heat the piston
  7. Leave the choice of media to whoever blasts it As far as finish goes, avoid powder coat, the reason it looks scabby is because the guillotine leaves a sharp edge that the powder coat struggles to cover. If you do go with powder coat use a flap disk to fettle the edges and corners, it will last a lot longer if you do. If you use machinery enamel or 2 pack then a clear coat lacquer you can lacquer over any stickers and freshening the finish is just a matter of flatting it and a quick coat of fresh lacquer.
  8. A well wielded file will give a better edge but on a long chain with damage a grinder is useful and quick to get the cutter something like before going at it with the file.
  9. And a mog repair is 6K, if you are lucky:laugh1:
  10. I knew HE was going to say that:laugh1:
  11. I have one like this 2.5" HD Car Vehicle Dash Dashboard Camera IR Night Vision DVR Cam CCTV Recorder | eBay The battery is pants but its on the 12v supply so that doesn't matter It has been useful on a couple of occasions
  12. You get what you pay for but you didn't say which particular can you were looking at Some pattern cans have one spout, most mainstream manufacturers supply with 2 spouts or you can but the self sealing speed fillers that are available
  13. Its not unheard of for the shaft seal to weep, its usually just an "O" ring and a cheap job to replace
  14. There are certain customers who are pre disposed to haggle, they get the "haggle amount" added to the quote to make them fell better. They don't get to feel better when they try for free extras or re negotiating the price when the work is done If the price is negotiable I will negotiate as hard as I can
  15. I am with you on that, more often than not any infection is from the bacteria on your skin that gets pushed in with the thorn
  16. Just bypass the switch mate
  17. I will if you stop handing out bollockings for nonsense reasons:laugh1:
  18. Ha ha ha Well if you weren't so ignorant it would be funny. Do you think even the most stupid of thieves needs lessons on here about how to hot wire something?
  19. This is growing in a large cavity on a Beech Anyone want to hazard a guess based on this particularly poor picture. Sorry about the quality but it was a long way up and I am not that tall:laugh1:

  21. The clue is in the title, selective harvesting Its not all about firewood and habitat. Removing dead and dying trees in a productive forest is important.
  22. Well like I said You cant get in a machine on site without one. For the vast majority of sites, and that's where that machine will need to be, no card no job
  23. Well I read urban, urban is town and town is houses, houses means domestic
