  1. Flat top is a great place to keep the cafitiere warm
  2. Nope, that was the birth of Christ, the mass of Christ is an annual event
  3. There you go again, celebration is the mass, the birth of Christ our saviour, its not about who can max out their cards and payday loans buying into the gratification of mammon
  4. That's what it has become, Christmas is about, the mass of Christ, the clue is in the name
  5. When is it?
  6. You have the horse in front of the cart here. Sharpening isn't slow and its not more cost effective to put a new chain on, IF you can sharpen well. Your problem seems to be that you cant sharpen well and unless you start sharpening you will never acquire the talent. Make some time to sharpen, consider it an investment in your training. Once you have mastered sharpening the cost effectiveness will become apparent, it takes several minutes to sharpen a small mid sized chain and no more than ten to sharpen a big saw (mullered chains notwithstanding).
  7. Fixed that for you:laugh1:
  8. I had man colds in the past, then I got flu. The difference is that when you have flu, if there were a button marled "die now to relieve the misery" you would press it:laugh1: edit I am sorry you had to play football as well
  9. There isn't a standard Lucas switch. They come in petrol and diesel, the petrol one doesn't have the heat position. The diesel one will do you fine
  10. And the award for pedant of the week goes to.....
  11. 750 is an unusual speed and as you say a maximum. Given that I would imagine that 540 is the input speed for that machine
  12. Its entertainment What you are seeing is what the director thinks will get you talking, boost viewer numbers and ultimately SELL ADVERTISING SPACE Seems like he knows his job
  13. It would be gauge plate if its to an imperial gauge, more likely to be metric these days:laugh1:
  14. What he said As a project fine but buy a sheet of silver steel, salvaging bits is often more work than its worth
  15. Love child of a harvester head and a processor
  16. Depends on what you use to jam it with. I bet it would have trouble getting home if I jammed it with a 12 bore Pull.............
  17. A bigshot, a couple of M12 nuts and a short length of throw line should tangle that nicely:thumbup1:
  18. The hazard warning lights on a Taxi perform the same function along with the right to drive wherever they want including the wrong side of the road:thumbdown:
  19. The other problem is that to use them commercially you need a UAV pilots licence
  20. And why would you bother:laugh1:
  21. If the job takes ten minutes longer then so be it, that's cheaper than damaging kit Like I said, you need to teach him not to leave kit in vulnerable places, when you see it happen pull him up and remind him why. As far as repair costs go if you don't have the money to fix a major repair to the chipper, what's going to happen when something goes wrong with your vehicle? You are running the job and reaping the profits so any risk is yours as well
  22. You clearly have a problem with work methods. A safe system of work will help. No one chips my climbing kit because I am the only one that uses it, once its not needed it goes back in the bag and I put it away, its my PPE and it seldom goes out of my sight. You are in charge of the job so if kit it getting damaged YOU need to look at why and address that issue, the kit got damaged because YOU didn't do that. Give the lad a bolocking and HIS money back
  23. Is that legal????
  24. I haven't got one, and I looked in the spam box where I keep all the emails about Nigerian millions that I have yet to claim
  25. Buy this and hire in a digger Timber Grab c/w Clam Shells to fit Excavator. | eBay
