  1. If you are buying or selling a business speak to an accountant for a valuation
  2. Why???? Did you actually spend some money or were you just passing and decided to take the piss
  3. Where do you work ??
  4. Yes ha ha very droll but you also have to realise is that they document facts like that right before they whack you with a fine for the illegal activity
  5. Lets not forget that the toe cap is primarily an impact protection device and that PPE is the last line of defence Best way not to cut your foot off is to not cut your foot off
  6. You pays ya money ya takes your chances The risk is you get booted off for lack of planning consent so don't sign up for any long lease and don't spend anything you cant afford to walk away from

    Tipper ram

Because the ram cant be bead at the highest point you need to rely on the oil movement to purge the trapped air. The trapped air will purge best if in small bubbles, load the tipper to get things moving with purpose then cycle the tipper a few times
  8. Ha ha Some people just shouldn't be allowed to buy Lycra pants:laugh1:
  9. Misquote alert You are hereby fined for not knowing your Shakespeare The quote is Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio; a fellow of infinite jest,
  10. Yup, that's scale insect, and PLEASE get a bigger container
  11. Some will be down to design and others to error A clearer question is needed
  12. More than a prototype with 2 series and over 500 built. I am told you can still buy a new one in warmer climates. The principal didn't catch, on mostly because it was ahead of its time, it took JCB another couple of decades to come up with the fastrac.
  13. Yes they do
  14. That would be engineering
  15. The issue is probably down to the coefficient of expansion and a combination of the mix of bars, gauge and length. Thin oils mean more friction, friction means heat and that's what's causing the problem Friction leads to the bar expanding and causing the chain to run tight, until it stretches when it will run slack as the bar cools and shrinks. Add in the variable of gauge and bar length...... Better oil should sort it out
  16. If its dry the heat generated in the bar by friction causes it to expand and thus over tighten the chain which then stretches so the answer is lack of oil can cause both in turn
  17. When I converted a Discovery to a 130 tipper the insurance was simple, engineers report cost £120 nan NFU were happy.
  18. In whatever way suits them best, and when and if it goes wrong they will just say "oh well" They are politicians and as such are only interested in securing another term, just assume whatever they say is lies and you wont go far wrong
  19. Leave it alone, no point cutting for cuttings sake
  20. Its semantics, a travel brake is to stop a moving vehicle, a parking brake is for a parked vehicle In a hydraulic system speed control is usually done with flow control and (in modern machines) parking is done with a hydraulically operated brake, no pressure leaves the motor locked.
  21. There are laws about what you can put in beer and sausage, no horsemeat and sawdust in the reinheitsgebot
  22. A decent leak should mean longer intervals because the oil is refreshed regularly by topping it up. Get a good enough leak going and all you need do is spin on a new filter now and again.:laugh1:
  23. The key phrase here is "large processor". That's a small to medium motor at best. Have a look for a harvester motor
  24. You just cant compare the systems like that. Hydraulic systems work at much lower speeds but have much more torque. Completely different characteristics.
