  1. Ha ha, there is certainly an element of low power about it :laugh1:
  2. Not the love of a child or a wife/partner ?
  3. Just to remind you he did ask for opinions and it seems the majority think a re appraisal of priorities might be in order
  4. People understand, you aren't as complicated as you seem to think
  5. That program, and many more of its ilk, are purely for entertainment rather than the documentary they are aping. They give a false impression and far from experiment, they are brain out entertainment and certainly not an experiment
  6. Its not certainly not illegal for them to say that you should deal with them. However if the owner has appointed an agent and wants you to deal with the agent, then its that or the road. Speak to the property owner and ask them if what the management company claims is true. If it is, you will have to deal with the management company. Its not beyond the realm of possibility that a person in their dotage wants a bit of peace and quiet.
  7. You have got mixed terms going on. They are both important in different ways for different reasons. PSI is pressure and that's what gives force or tonnage as it is commonly described. The other term you use is GPM which is flow, which gives speed.
  8. If you mod it and it bights you that's your problem, if it is used by someone else and it bights then that's also your problem and you might have to sell your house to put it right. Foot control is a big HSE no no More speed makes more heat and depending on the duty cycle you might end up fitting an oil cooler to stop the thing from "boiling up".
  9. Clearly the management company would like you to deal with them but the only person that can tell you to deal with the management company is the owner
  10. Those PICUS tests are only a rough guide. I would need to perform my own diagnostic tests which consist of kicking the hollow stem and making a sucking sound through my teeth before breaking out the big saw :laugh1:
  11. It comes in a range of colours or whatever your sign writer sticks to it
  12. The stuff you need is called aluminium composite sheet, its a plastic sheet with a paper thin ally sheet over it Amari Plastics EDIT That frame is about 50% over strength, 25mm box would have been more than enough
  13. Now there is a name from the past, only it was K&F back in the 80's
  14. Apparently, if the "perp" is more than 10 strides and running, in some states you are allowed to shoot them. I am sure I saw that on the internet somewhere
  15. I did a load for a mate once. Forstner works well but its slow compared to a hole saw that only cuts a fraction of the material. Simply drill and pop the plug out
  16. They have a bearing on climbing but its not like the job cant be done without bulging biceps and one handed pull ups. Using the muscle between your ears should always be option 1. As a climber you spend more time "sitting" in your harness than anything else.
  17. Climb faster or work faster. Normal working practice wont require pull ups
  18. I would be interested to know why a climber would need to do a chin up, one handed or otherwise
  19. I would describe myself as experienced rather than expert but what Mull says fits my own observations
  20. He was talking about the AA show not the APF
