  3. that was our old firewood trailer! hope you got something decent to go on the front of it, she weighs a fair bit.
  4. if you can put up with the noise of my mog for that distance your a braver man than me!!
  5. im a few mins away from ashford, will have a word with the guy that moves my machines about and see what he can do. did you buy it from ebay?
  6. i didnt forget, i made mine sit in the truck whilst i spent a few hours buying mog parts. she wasnt impressed with her gift of larger wheels and tyres
  7. i wouldnt, will break down before it gets up the stairs into the bed room and will leak oil all over the hall way carpet!
  8. try rob wraight ltd in great chart, i just did the fencing around his yard and he must have 60 tractors of that era / vintage in stock currently.
  9. clean the egr valve, common problems with mitsi engines is that they coke up and you loose power.
  10. Try just crowding everything in and shaking just the bucket open and close. I'm not sure how or why but the shaking action is generally much more violent and clears the bucket better when you pull the bucket back tight.
  11. When it clags up badly crowd the bucket all the way and flick it back and forth rapidly. Works well on any bucket on any sized machine
  12. if i did 12mph in a fastrac down the A2 and through the tunnel with that lot behind me and i would be linched by the other motorists!!
  13. laws must of changed as i regularly move a 14 ton dump trailer towed behind a cheiftan low loader with a 13 ton digger on. Even when we go through the dartford tunnel the transport police and vosa only pull us in to escort us through the tunnel rather than to have a go or fine us.
  14. any half decent fencing shop should sell all digging tools whether it be shuvs, grafts, peelers etc
  15. lol thats my old trailer! bit heavy on the drawbar with a mog on the front.
  16. agreed!! cant beat a bit of gas work in the morning and that feeling of "have i done the right thing" when one end of the trailer is one corner of the yard and the other end is in another corner. we have built a few trailers now from artics, slurry tanker and spreader chassis. Always fun to see how they turn out and if they are a dog to tow or not!!
  17. make sure your tractor has the air capacity to run all the suspension and brakes properly!
  18. 400hp ahwi mulcher does a good job of dealing with birds
  19. Ted goldfinch down in robertsbridge.
  20. ahs have a depot in the next village as i used to run chip there directly, was curious as i dont see any of their trucks about any more. al, i got a mate with a big TJ forwarder on the kent sussex border but haulage to dartford might price it out if there is anyone nearer.
  21. So has stobart taken over ahs now??
  22. Has anyone got any of the bolt on sand buckets to fit timber grabs they want to get rid of. looking for a light set to use rather than swap to a heavy clamshell set up. cheers
  23. try Power Tools | Hand Tools | Bearings | Safety Boots | Draper | Castors they either stock or can get most stuff next day. i pass their shop daily on the way to my yard so if u need something sent i could help u out
  24. Does anyone on here produce gates from cleft chesnut? I have a very large post and rail fencing job and the land owner is keen for the pedestrian gates to match the rest of the fence but its something i cant produce myself. Dimesions want to be 1.5m tall x 1m wide and rails spaced or inserts fitted to make it stock proof or be capable of attaching netting. If there is anyone than can help drop us a pm. cheers
