  1. Very cool units mate, how come American wagons always look so much cooler than ours, i have also always wondered why no one uses bucket trucks over here.
  2. i think if you decide to give in, you will go under and these individuals will blame the industry, losing contracts, cheap prices, credit crunch etc but the fact is THEY decided to give in, as has been said there is work there you just have to look for it and want it, if you feel depressed regarding the current climate you will project that image in your demeanor to a prospective client without even knowing it, and that can be very off putting. i once read if you duplicated the same desire, energy, never give in attitude that you used to have your first sexual experience you would succeed in EVERYTHING you tried:laugh1:
  3. Never dates.....fantastic Nick cave and the bad seeds "The Mercy Seat" [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFdUTM4gU-o]YouTube - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Mercy Seat"[/ame]
  4. thats awesome!!! i love stuff like that, you could get from one job to next pretty quick in that...
  5. what is that made of dean, fibreglass? looks brand new
  6. get a job in tescos etc and set up a tree company part time and as swb says write down some goals and date them (the dating them are very important) the tesco job will take away the pressure of finding money to pay the bills and you can work away part time at achieving your goals, plenty ways to make money mate and i am sure you can turn your hand to landscaping/fencing as well, dont worry what others think regarding what you drive/work as, cause its you that is responsible for keeping your head above water, or go and sign on till you decide what direction you are going. good luck in whatever you decide mate
  7. LOL the sarcasm in that post was priceless
  8. i have just started using one coming straight off a blake and micro pulley, what technique are you using for advancing, body thrust, arm over arm, others? i see the advantages and intend to stick with it but find it a bit awkward to advance some times,on long ascents the sling between the hitch and harness is awesome though:001_cool:
  9. i find tesco just as cheap as i dont ever need 50 cans of soup at once!! some good bargains in costco but you can end up spending more than you need.
  10. Honda on the chipper, mixer, wacker, a few niggles but nothing really Kohler on the stumpy keeps wrecking starters so honda for me everytime.
  11. that sounds very strange,i think he has been having an affair with one of his co workers wifes and his mate forgot to clip him in then went "oh your hand are too slippy i cant hold you, bye,i mean oh no!!"
  12. nice one mate, well done

  14. lol, don't think i have not suggested it, i just got a "look" all the married men will know it, so i backed up from that conversation or i would be making my own dinner for ages. yeah sorry Yve_Clark i was gonna pm you to tell you.
  15. You must have a "man shed" where you can go and hit things with a hammer
  16. i was looking forward to going then got reminded it is my wifes birthday i was still planning on going in the afternoon but its a no goer.....
  17. they look good tom where do they sit in the film as an emerger? i find the cdc works well tied as either breather filaments on a buzzer or upright wing on a parachute. ive not wet a line this year i will need to get along and cast to a rise.
  18. Be polite and honest if the interviewer screws his face up at any answers jump up, flip the table rip your shirt off and scream " i will tear this place down on top of you" i never done great at interviews, i dont know why Only a joke DO NOT DO THAT unless you film it for us all to see:001_smile: As said mate be on time, polite and be yourself also be confident but not arrogant, its important to make them feel you are the man for the job so be enthusiastic about trees and customers needs, because without the customers THEY dont have a job. good luck.
  19. Dont mind at all, my father was a extremely violent alcoholic so that slightly tainted my view of drink from an early age, i then went to work as a bouncer in my late teens to my mid twenties and seeing the state of some people and the trouble it causes was unreal, so it never appealed to me, but im not anti-drink people should do what ever makes them happy and releases the tension as long as they are not hurting anyone. hope that answers it
  20. lol, fair enough but i like being hot n sweaty, you cant like having a hangover?, but if its similar to sex pass me the red wine
  21. seems a poor wage, but im sure someone will be glad of it if they are unemployed, got to be better than losing your house etc.
