I use the same as you drs mainly ,but dont use gripples 50% wont hold the strain , the only ones we use are T connector's much faster . I using a protech on the boxer ,but just got the p30c for the holder , will speed thing's up on the straight's

im normally quiete this time of year, nesting season , so i get time to split log's and sort out gear for the next season , but this year im busy with my new string to my bow stock fencing , not easy stuff drive up do a field edge , but on wet ground and through dense woodland stuff people dont like doing .

for 1 if the contract was with or through NE no fuel is allowed to be left on site and to have waste oil on site for fire starting is a big no no ,and to have a fire on a peat bog is absalutly a no done thing , we have to remove and chip up here, i would give them a call again on tueasday or go beyond the little men get it in the paper !!! -

no you cant put the full cost against expenses this year and then have a depreciation over a set amount of years , that would be claiming for it twice, as paul says a percentage of say 50% then a yearly drop until it's gone . any plant i get in over £350 I do this way with some kit high use and small saw's , depreciation is quiker 3 years tractors ,4x4 6 years or unless it's sold or scrapped

power steering assist's the driver to turn the wheel , so if the power steering fails there is still somthing attatched to the wheels to move them , hydrostatic use's fluid to move the steering so no engine no fluid no steering .

if it is the steering then maybe as if the engine fails you have no way of steering it

but surely it's diesel ??? the steering is hydrostatic no?

the military did not go for the td5 as it was to technical so all there landrovers had the tdi 300 fitted instead of the td5 td5 all the way best engine they made in the end !!!

Im after a big bit of kit at the mo so ringing around there are a lot of different prices by a few £ for the same bit of kit fine ok . So i ring up the people whom make this bit of kit and even if i went to there yard they are wait for it £ 500 more than the cheapest dealer could not understand that :confused1:so my local dealer 300 miles from them will get my cash .
