1. I wouldn't drill your wheel and axle personally - you would then be locking your wheels to the axle which would only allow them to rotate at the same speed in the same direction. Turning would become a problem...
2. Hodge - get the old one pressure tested - if it's good then keep as a spare or sell. I think someone might have had your pants down with the new one unfortunately (price wise). These pumps aren't massively expensive and tend to be a throw away item as refurb is relatively dear.
3. Yes, but I think some of you may have missed the fact that that one has split in two, hence the initial question...
4. How have you plumbed it to the tractor? You're unlikely to get more than 80l/min through a standard spool, and the non return valve fitted to the trailer's pipe work can also slow oil flow.
5. I didn't think I suffered from envy, but I saw your old machine for sale and really pondered as to how I could justify buying it... I know the new owner (top bloke!) and am now envious! What a set up for the money!
6. I'd go for it - they look amazing compared to the low budget overpriced simplistic rubbish that comes out of IFW. I bought a well used Brenderup box trailer second hand the other day (I needed a cheap box trailer immediately) and I expected very little for the money - it is absolutely fantastic! Much better made than any Ifor, and makes Brian James look agricultural. Go European - worst case your residuals will be low and you'll lose a couple of hundred quid in a few years when you swap it back to British tat!
7. You won't go far wrong with the TW150 - well done!
8. I'd be having one of the Greenmech 1928s off Chippendale plant if I were you - that's a lot of chipper for 6.5k (particularly as you aren't restricted by weight)!
9. I guess you just like the colour orange.
10. I think it is stamped on a plate on the bulkhead under the bonnet iirc.
11. Tothby has a ranger and Isuzu tipper I think.
12.
Hi - I'm interested in your predator grinder. Can I ring you, or could you give me a shout on 07970188050? Cheers, Dan.

13. The speed showing on the box is possibly determined by a feed sent from the engine's alternator, and is therefore related to engine rpm (not directly determined by flywheel rpm). If the pulley sizes have been changed it is possible that the flywheel speed is still the same (therefore chipping speed and draught are also the same) but at lower engine rpm. It may be that the replacement engine has a more suitable peak torque at lower rpm, hence the need to change pulleys to increase flywheel speed at lower relevant working rev range.
14. Are those rates 5 days a week, or here and there one shift at a time overnight and different ends of the country etc? Sounds like incredible money if it is regular work!
15. Dreadful news, we all wish you a speedy recovery Sean. The nhs are fantastic - let them do their work and you'll be back in the game in no time pal! Horrible eye opening occurrence - please stay safe everyone.
16. Cheers all - I'll make some calls tomorrow. Looking for something heavier than run of the mill garden centre stock ideally.
17. In Cheshire - I'm open to quotations for trees delivered here. Ideally the trees would have a similar form as they are being planted as a group predominantly for aesthetic purposes - a variety of fruit will add a nice bit of interest but they don't need to be dramatically different to each other.
18. Hi - a customer wants me to source 3x decent sized (standard or ideally larger) pear trees to make a feature in their garden. Ideally three different varieties, all edible fruit. I know it's not exactly the best time of year for this... Anyone know of anywhere that might be able to supply what I'm after? Cheers boys and girls!
19. Wowsers - glad you are still top side! Take it super steady - as already said, if you need anything stick it up on here and it will get sorted I'm sure!
20. If you want excellent oil at the right money just contact Rye Oil directly - don't mess about with trying to find the cheapest on the internet etc. Their oil sticks like sh1t to a blanket and is cheap. They are nice people too - what else could anyone want from a supplier?!
21. There it is - wow I'm useless with computers!
22. Dunno how to make the link go straight to it - it is listed under forestry and is titled 'http://arbtrader.arbtalk.co.uk/?s=&uid=3156'
23. There is one on arbtrader, but I don't know anything about them personally. Search Results ArbTrader Arborists Classifieds
