  1. Shouldn't all knots be untied for LOLER anyway? Can you fail something for tail length?
  2. Have you settled on any pictures Steve or do you need more?
  3. It's one of my better photos:001_smile:
  4. Before the pitchforks and burning crosses come out I imagine
  5. Single fishermans knot. Make the tails a good bit longer though
  6. Don't think this embeds but it's been stuck in my head and it's a good one
  7. It's hard enough that there are loads of people undercutting everyone for cheap tree work but if they're fencing as well we may as well give up

    Chainsaw value

Good luck with it. I would say that as a buyer, you'd have to look to make a fair saving to justify not having the dealers warranty but I can completely see your point with a saw that hasn't done that much work and you'd probably be best keeping hold of it.

Where abouts are you based and how much work has it done? I'd potentially be interested
  10. Was just going to say the same, we headed down on the Saturday and as Rich mentioned, knowing that Honeys, Treeworker and Jonesie weren't going to be there I was hoping to get some rope off the reel but Treekit had sold out and no-one else had anything on reel. Shame but not an AA issue. Really liked the location and parking etc. We travelled 151 miles each way with traffic and road closures so it was nice to be able to wander along the tree top walk as well as the show and i think it benefited from having members of the public in amongst the arbs.
  11. Hello mate. I'm fine thanks. Two little girls now keeping me busy! Love it though! Hope you're keeping well mate
  12. Great shout. I'll pop in on Saturday with some cash
  13. I'll be there on Saturday and can put stuff in bag if needed
  14. I'd have thought you would find someone to do it for a drink
  15. That's easily done. Has the splice moved at all?
  16. Sad news. Met him at one of the shows a few years back I think. Nice chap. Thoughts go out to his wife and kiddies
  17. God, it's Friday night and I'm splicing useless things to get photos for Arbtalk. I think I might need help.....
