  1. We just got them in, they look good. Im anxious to give one a bash myself Treemotion Back Pad, comfort, teufelberger
  2. There appears to be a delay in it launching via certain browsers. Firefox appears to be working alright though so far.
  3. After many months of tough slog the new GUSTHARTS website is now live:thumbup: Gustharts | Specialists in Arborist & Woodland Equipment. New features include *Better indexing, search via Brand, Price etc *More in depth information *Better images *Review Products *Multi-buy discount facilities *Paypal Payment There may be one or two creases to iron out whether it be the transfer of data from one site to the other but we'd appreciate any feedback, opinions and so forth..... Be gentle though as its been a long time in the making!
  4. I like it, coincidently I was messing around with an idea today aswell, opinions?
  5. Better keep my eyes peeled for a climbing kit order then, there'll be hell on if theres no sweets now!!
  6. We have 2 in stock, give us a bell if you want one.
  7. We bought a helmet cam from here Chilli Technology via groupon to stick some videos on the new website. Not had a chance to have a proper go with it yet but seems spot on for the price paid.
  8. We have two of them, not been in contact with them for a while though so dont know if they are still in business. Here is their website though if its any help, contact details are on there. Automatic sawchain grinder
  9. There is no seal through it, it simply should not be leaking. Seems like you got a crack or something on the tank...
  10. Hi, on the front of the exhaust there is 2 spring clips. Prise these out with a screw driver while making sure you dont loose them. Behind these are the bolts that hold the exhaust. Then simply put the spring clips back in place. Hope that helps.
  11. We have a few variations on the ART ropeguide on special offer if its of any interest to you https://www.gustharts.com/special-offers/ or.... https://www.gustharts.com/Products/Arborist%20Equipment/Climbing%20Equipment/Friction%20Savers/Product/Edelrid%20Roka-e%20Cambium%20Saver%20/
  12. They are quite confusing to begin with I'd agree! However once you have used them for a while there far more ergonomic, they are alot easier to open one handed as you are pulling the gate down and towards you rather than away from you. We need to illustrate it somehow on the website, I'll try and get a vid or something put on when I get some time.
  13. A very good question!!! We are still frustratingly unable to give you a nailed on date for the Unicender. My colleague spoke with Rock 2-3 weeks ago. The state of play appears to be that the Unicender has gone through the CE marking process but the hold up is the documentation that accompanies it. Apparently thats the tricky part! You'll just have to bear with us I'm afraid, I know it must be frustrating to hear "its coming" over and over again but its all beyond our control. As soon as there is any development Arbtalk members will be the first to know.
  14. We are the UK distributor of those aswell All our height measurement devices can be found here. https://www.gustharts.com/Products/Logging%20%26%20Forestry%20Equipment/
  15. I applaud your efforts, its things like that where ideas begin! You'll be able to claim to be the first in years to come when industry big wigs steal your idea
  16. There is a new one coming shortly, same as the other omni-blocks pictured on the website in terms of appearance. This one however is a small palm sized pulley (see image attached) This is a new product though so as with the unicender it lacks the CE marking currently. Im not able to give you a ETA on it yet
  17. .... One day hopefully, one day!!
  18. We will be at the Arbshow Friday and Saturday under the guise of "Rock Exotica" We'll have a couple of Unicenders on show and should be able to demonstrate them aswell:thumbup1: Look forward to meeting you all there, we'll be located at E9 next door to Honey Brothers
  19. They are a good alternative to silky fox and are around 20% cheaper. They are improving all the time. This is mainly due to Chris at CEuk's willingness to listen to criticism, take it on board and look to improve them. Speaking with him at the arbfair I told him of a customer who had snapped a few blades. He told me in the beginning the saws were water hardened but has now moved on to oil hardening. The oil hardening means in the cooling proccess there is no moisture left within the blade which can make it brittle. We've sold alot of them and other than that one customer snapping blades when they first came out we've had no complaints
  20. Glad to hear you enjoyed it mate. There are some photos on our Facebook page if its any interest to you. Didnt get many of the actual climbing but a few on their of the presentation and various other stuff. Gustharts - Arborist & Woodland Supplies | Facebook
  21. Just uploaded the photos from Arbfair North to our Facebook page, for anyone interested... Arbfair North 2011 | Facebook
  22. We spotted it at the APF that's where it stemmed from. I didn't get to have a go I was too busy, think a couple of the other lads had a blast though:bawling:
  23. Two reasons really, firstly plans are afoot for new premises next year for Gustharts and secondly the workload. So much effort went into getting it off the ground this year that it made it difficult to manage our workload in the shop. If we initially arrange it biannually we can pace out the organization of the event and hopefully in doing so produce a greater show next time around.
  24. Well the First Arb Fair North is over and we at Gustharts and Orange Plant want thank all of you who attended the event for one or both days. Your support is much appriciated and contributed to making the show as successful as it was. Thank you to all those who travelled long distances especially all the trade stands who had to cart all there gear up too. Thank you to the Arb Association for supporting the whole event including the 3ATC climbing competition with the all new CCC (college climbing competition) which will be held yearly. I hope everyone and more will come to the 2nd Arb Fair North in 2013 which will have so much more to offer. More competitions, more prizes, but most of all we have and will continue to listen to your suggestions and make sure your wants/needs are fulfilled i.e. a beer tent, better food, etc
  25. Cheers Jonsie and good luck with yours later this year.
