No problem mate. Yeah like you say when I enquired on the availability for the 044 with Stihl technical I was told they don't do them in this country. Don't know why not, maybe if there's seen to be demand for it over here they'll make them available?

No updates as yet with regards the release date of the Unicender. The first shippment of Rock Exotica gear is however on the way and should be landing with us in the next week or so:thumbup1: Sorry we cant give an indication of price for the Unicender yet, we dont want to say one thing then find out another! As soon as we have any news or updates regarding it we'll be sure to let you all know

We have recently secured a deal with Rock Exotica to import their products to the UK. We anticipate the Rock Exotica range to become available any time between now and February. The Unicender will become available shortly after. It is currently not CE marked so we cannot sell it yet. We anticipate it becoming available in the early part of this year. Keep your eyes peeled on our website for further details. An announcement should be made shortly.

I tend to agree that a dealer should have people trained in at least climbing to be able to sell gear with knowledge of what they are selling especially when there are serial numbers and conformitys involved. I know this is easy to say when we are a Stihl dealer and have the training. Thanks to Rob i now have my 30,31,38,and 39. And doing my 41 this year. We like to think we can provide the a really comprehensive service from your Stihl gear to your climbing gear. Were in the north of england but still only a phone call away.

I like the Stein one too and although we sell them that comment is based on the fact that i have one and when i climb in it it doesn't snag on branches and i havent been wet yet even though there not classed as tottaly water proof. Pete

Hi, I have checked with chainsdirect and the helmet is an oregon helmet with standard ear defenders. Gustharts helmet is MSA Sordin with high quality Left/RIGHT ear defenders. Cheers Bill
