  1. That burger van was hopeless i must admit! I think with the bins there was a communication breakdown. We thought someone was doing it and they thought we were!?
  2. Keep the ideas and suggestions flooding in aswell. We'll be jotting down alot over coming days of things to change or improve whilst there fresh in the mind.... Don't worry the bar will be included in that
  3. Glad u all enjoyed it, it was alot of hard work and alot of lessons learned for the next time! Think on the ticker there were 600 to 700 but more in through back back gate who weren't taken into account. We reckon closer to 800 plus over the two days. Thanks to all involved and all who attended, will be sorting out photos over the coming week after we've tidied up the aftermath!!!
  4. No worries Tom will get a Vat reciept as soon as we get a chance to book out all the sales on the computer back at base next week. I personally wasn't behind alot of the planning so I'm not sure if there was issues involved in having a beer tent or whatever. Be nice though as a social base for it all I agree. Should of hung around, had the hog roast and kirkley bar open end of day. With regards the Unicender. Spoke with them this week, they are going through final stages of whatever is involved in CE marking procedure. Been testing on different sized lines. Word is HOPEFULLY June/July. Sorry it's taking so long guys, beyond our control I'm afraid. Give us a shout anyone there tomo as we do have a non CE one at the show that your all more than welcome to have a crack with. Got a line outside on the rigging at the front of the tent. Roll on tomo!
  5. Big thanks to all in attendance for day one of Arbfair North. For a first show we were blown away by the attendance. Special thanks to all exhibitors and those who have took time out for a visit. It's made all the hard work put in worth while. Congrats also to myerscough who scooped first place in the college climbing challenge followed by Kirkley College in second and East Durham in third. Thanks to all other colleges taking part also. Look forward to seeing all who are attending tomo....... Be gentle we are knackered!

  12. No problem Mark, pleased to be of service. You'll be lucky to see Rob at the show, hes a bit of a recluse in that respect! Save you a few quid anyway:thumbup:
  13. At the moment it's difficult to get a clear picture of what the end product will be like as they are currently making amendments for the CE marking hence the delay. We've heard previous versions have been subject to wear issues but until the next version is with us I'm afraid I can't tell u whether parts will be replaceable or how it will hold up against abrasion. We'll keep u posted when we know anymore.

  17. Yes it is Cutting Edge. They have the rollers and click the blades in apart from the brumby. We have plenty of them in if you want to try them.
  18. It has been suggested, we'd like to try and get something sorted out in that respect. Quick update for you all aswell. Theres has been a slight delay on the availablility. We had expected it to become available march/april but there has been a few minor modifications made to the device design to improve its operation which has put back the date of it getting CE marked. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long but back end of spring/start of summer seems likely.
  19. Definately genuine I can assure you:thumbup1:

  21. As some of you may be aware we are currently in the process of putting together an Arborist show for the North of England Arb Fair North is not OUR show as such. We are merely the organisers along with Orange Plant Machinery The aim is to create a miniature version of the AA/APF show as there is nothing up here in the North to compare to the two. Confirmed attendees so far include, Gustharts, Orange Plant, Honey Brothers, Sorbus, Lyon Equipment, DMM, Marlow, Fletcher Stewart, Stihl, Arb Association, Cutting Edge, Essential Arb, Aspen..... plus many more, including of course Arbtalk We hope if successful to build on that success and schedule an annual event for you all to enjoy. We hope to see you there:thumbup:
