  17. We now have in stock the new Silky Fox Tsurugi hand saws. CLICK LINKS BELOW TO GO DIRECTLY TO WEBSITE Silky Fox Tsurugi Hand Saw Silky Fox Tsurugi Hand Saw [/ATTACH] Meaning “long sword” in English, the TSURUGI is a unique tree saw that utilizes advanced materials and blade grinding techniques to deliver a durable, super slender “spine of teeth,” designed to cut hard-to-soft wood, even in tight quarters. In the prototype stage of development, professionals were amazed by the cutting power and surgical precision that this sleek new blade affords. Thanks to Silky’s creative team, the TSURUGI comes to market as perhaps the lightest weight, best balanced “big saw” ever produced, having no handle screws, nuts or extraneous hardware to keep it together. The comfortable, 2-part rubber grip is held together by an ingenious integration with the blade tang. And as if the saw alone weren’t enough, each Silky TSURUGI handsaw comes in a unique aluminum scabbard that can be attached to the belt or leg depending on the users preference and has eight rollers protecting the entryway. Features * Strong Mono-Construction Blade Considered as a premium feature by professionals around the globe, the momo-construction design not only provides a perfectly balanced hand saw but delivers extra strength and flexibility in use. This eliminates handle and blade fatigue found in most other saws where the blade mounts to the handle * Sure Grip Handle The non slip rubberized grip absorbs vibration and directs more usable energy to the cutting edge. The screwless grip requires no tools for changing blades. * Cutting Capacity The distincive narrow blade enables the TSURUGI to work efficiently in tight branch groupings, while the straight shape helps avoid accidental contact with adjacent branches. Built with heavy gauge, special alloy steel, the strong, narrow design also reduces friction drag as the blade slices through the cut. * Superior Quality Finish The precison-ground, razor sharp teeth provide fast, clean and extremely smooth cutting action with reduced effort. Taper ground blade enables users energy to be used to cut wood fibers as opposed to fighting heat building friction on the side of the blade. * Lock System The shoulders on the grip make the TSURUGI sit firmly in the sheath and prevent it falling out due to incidental contact. * Roller The sheath opening is equipped with six rollers to reduce wear and tear when the saw is drawn or holstered.
