  1. Structure/exterior = DONE .....now the hardwork begins
  2. We've got a customer with dreds and he finds the petzl vertex fits best.
  3. We are still working on Rob with that one. He's not much of a drinker so doesn't seem to see the value in it. For me it's an essential but currently looks unlikely:thumbdown:
  4. The helmet does have vents, the rear section of the helmet slides up and down to either close or open the vents.
  5. Your welcome anytime Barry..... particularly between 1st and 5th of November, you can help us shift then!!
  6. You'll notice the helmets been removed now. Still coming but it would seem it's to be kept under wraps for time being..... Nice of us to give the good people of arbtalk a sneak peak though
  7. Just the four colours shown on the website currently. Im a fan of the black and red aswell:thumbup1:
  8. They are very Tron like! We have a sample in store and the fit of it is immense, when adjusted its so snug and comfortable. Feels very secure. Its obviously an expensive bit of kit but from a personal point of view its very impressive .
  9. The ins and outs I'm not sure of yet but I quote "At the moment, we're working hard to enhance the Protos Integral with radio equipment. The Protos ear protection fork offers a flexible interface for developing receptable for various radio communication sets"
  10. Sit down...... Then click the link in the image at the top:blushing:
  11. So I'll just put you down for 10 of them then mate
  12. After years of pre production and millions of pounds spent, the Pfanner Protos Integra helmet is finally here! We hope to have the Protos Arborist Intergal helmet in stock some time between the end of October and early November One Helmet for any challenge Due to the EN397 & EN12492 certification the "Protos Integral System" may be used for forestry, arboriculture or climbing activities within minutes. Chin strap, visor, neck protector, ear protection - everything is intergrated and modular at the same time. The word "integral" is what makes the Protos Integral so unique! Pfanner suceeded in integrating all the crucial parts in the helmet shell. This way you cannot get caught on twigs, brushwood or other obstacles. 8X MORE SAFETY * Greater field of view compared to all tested helmets on the market. Offers maximum sight. * The neck protector guards the back of the head and from impacts when falling and minimizes the danger of basal skull fractures. * The sporty colour combination has 35% more visable surface. The highly increased visability gives the wearer a great advantage in situations where they might be hard to spot (foliage, coniferous woodland, blinding sunlight etc. - no matter what season) * Due to the special cushioning construction (3-point mounting and anti-shock pads) of the interior shell impacts are effectively absorbed and not transferred to the head and respectively the spine * With the first-time certification with EN397 and EN12492 standards the protective helmet Protos not protects from vertical but also from horizontal impacts. This results in an innovative "all round protection" * Due to the elaborate interior shell the helmet fits perfectly. In case of an impact the energy is diffused on a large area and absorded evenly. * As the ear protection is always put on, it serves as additional shock protection. * The safety ventilation slit offers high safety exactly where it is needed. Horizontal and vertical impacts are absorded by the additional shell before the energy affects the main helmet. 8X More Comfort * Due to the integrated ear protection there are no prominent parts with which you could get caught on branches and such. The adjustable contact pressure of the ear protectors allows optimal customization * 2 great advantages of the integrated facial protection: You can work without getting caught on twigs, thorns while having an incredible field of view. * Correct fit on the head due to the prolonged, adjustable neck bowl. This way the helmet offers perfect fit even without the chin guard. * The special construction guarantees active ventilation (air flow in from all sides and exhaust through the ventilation channels on top) The ventilation channels may be closed or opened with the push of a lever. This way you can adjust the helmet to warm, cold or wet conditions. * So that the chin guard does not slip under the ear protector Pfanner attached a special rail to it. Wearing comfort and noise dampening are ensured. * Extraordinary sweat transport due to large contact pads with Klima-AIR technology. * Pfanners patented size adjustment makes the helmet easy to put on or off by activating or deactivating the neck part. Once you adjusted its size, you will not have to adjust it again * All functions are operable with only 2 fingers. Also the ear protection which can be deactivated by pushing it in its integrated garage under the outer shell

  19. Good Afternoon folks just a couple of developments/updates on the website to bring to your attention. Firstly we have added the ability for the Europeans amongst us to now view the website in Euros, simply select currency required. More currency options may become available in future if so neccessary. Secondly we have added a function whereby we will add a serial/tracking number to your rope or prusik wherever it is purchased off the roll per metre. Helping you keep tabs on your gear and so the pesky loler man can aswell! Lastly works progressing fast with the new premises, with each day the daunting task of shifting nears closer!! If you interested then please follow the progress here.... http://www.gustharts.com/new-premises-progress/ Enjoy your weekend
