  1. Yip, was quite shocked you wernt in! Spent quite a bit and still forgot 2 things I needed to replace, that place is a danger to the bank account!
  2. That's a biggy Chris, suffering from the big m is it? Wish I had a setup to Clean all my stuff off like that as the rb is hacky After the mad day yesterday chasing around clearing roads!
  3. Most defiantly abc or Arial bundled cable ie live power line but try telling that to a old farmer who knows better than tree cutters........ Or electric board linesmen who came to shut it down..... Or police who asked him to step aside and let the professionals do what they do. All because he didn't want us to steel his logs!
  4. Nowt a bit of. T cut won't sort Had plenty more but nowt worth ells posting.
  5. A few from today, started at 6 this morning. And just walked in home at 7pm. got to the big ash and found a farmer helping out with a blunt saw and a loadall about to get crushed by the tree then found a power line pushed down to the ground right next to where he was standing then got told in his expertise. It was only bt so ok to carry on. When back an hour later when it was shut off to clear the rest.
  6. 30 quid ish, all my new saws from now on will have heated handles if it's an option on that moddle, it's that good
  7. Done 25mm 25" through oak with mine so yes it's up to it just draw the bit back every few inch to clear the chips or it'll clog then you could be stuffed. Like said. You will need a bit with a hex shank or the chuck will slip.
  8. Fixt That for you
  9. You can turn them on and off with a switch in the right side of the front handle, which is just as well as can get almost too hot if your doing a lot of constant ringing up, well worth every penny!
  10. Just came back to this thred thinking about warranty and all that and wounded if You'd all weighted till it had run out before modding your saws or just thought sod it, I want an awsom saw now.
  11. Well if you are send me a pm or put up a post and I'm sure we can increase the order and spread the delivery cost a little!!
  12. Worth every penny at that price but as said in another thred shame we carnt get a rap Handel like the Americans
  13. Don't see why you should go to .404 for longer bars as surly the bigger chain takes more pulling. Probably find its because husky don't make a bar to fit longer than 28" in 3/8 but another brand will. Is the 390 fitted with twin felling dog'sand if not any1 know if you can get em as hope to get mine in Next week or so, funds allowing?
  14. Ok can we ban drew b as how can us simple brits contend with this sort of fancy going on, I've only just traded in my blue 3 strand
  15. Don't know about that, wouldn't want her dinting my trailer with her cra. Poor reversing. Good for the day's when I get volunteered too do something for a friend On a weekend and need the chipper or trailer. Quite looking forward to borrowing it to go pricing
  16. Not a bad looking motor, think I got the Mrs round to thinking about 're shodding it with bfg at's.
  17. I did spot another problem with going into the shop instead of mail ordering........no free sweets.
  18. I did spot a tracked barrow with a winch fitted onto it powered by the barrow hydraulic's On eBay a while ago and thought it would be good for this sort of thing. I think it had been built for pulling cables underground if I remembered right, sort of a poor man's iron horse if you like.
  19. So on a domestic QUOTE just put in the gross finger for them to see and compare with outher prices but on INVOICE put net + vat = gross and quote your registration no. so everything is present On the invoice. Is this a workable solution as said before its the idea of paying extra tax as opposed to actually paying it that I think affects most domestic customers. As for commercial iv lost out on jobs because I'm not vat registered because they couldn't claim back anything but have offered to let them pay for plant eg a Mewp Hire direct.
  20. I agree with that, the government want us in debt as its a form of control as we need to work and earn to pay it off so they in turn get a % in tax then we pay our mortgage which in turn they get a % in tax but if we wer to build sustainably like this they would loos out on billions of income to award to each outher in high salaries and bonuses for looking after us, well that's my opinion even as someone owned by a home/ mortgage
  21. Didn't bother with a bigger chipper then Johnny, nice frosty mornings, lovely:thumbup:

    Movember

Little lass took the photo before it got clipped, I'd have kept it but wife had outher ideas!
  23. An 540xp a 560xp basics climbing kit spikes if you use carbon fiber gecko and your bate bag as long as you don't overdo the snacks I think it's going to be more of a problem overloading the rear wheels than the gvw judging by the overhang. They look tidy but not sure how practical. My mate tows a cs100 with his which is perfect for the little domestic jobs he specializes in.
  24. Mate of mine had this one made by them and like you said had to uprate the rear springs as looked overloaded when empty. I think the steel fame is a little over engineered and could be made much lighter for this size of vehicle but for the price it's not bad at all.
  25. No ideas what this has to do with the op but enjoyed it more and was made to watch it 3 times by little son....
