  1. Kids swimming lessons, taking my boy in to start with so good farther son morning then pricing normally in afternoon.
  2. Should have let me know you had little on Paul, I'd have had you in for at least a few days as I thought you was on for someone again but you are now good man
  3. Wish we could get the forwarder in but way too tight.
  4. Garden clearance job today, who needs a arbortrolly when you have an iron horse to shift all the brash 15m qu so far of chip back tomorrow then timber Monday.
  5. Yip works for me, keen to try a pantin- hass combo on ddrt with the zigzag, just walking up the rope arms only for balance.
  6. They have admitted that it is a weakness and the new springs are of a different designs as thicker mettle and more over shape coil, it happens and not hard or overly expensive to fix.
  7. Greyhound, fast enough to catch them too and normally really friendly dogs, downside is you can't take it to work as might give the wrong image
  8. That's a lovely cheese board. What timber is it dan?
  9. That'll do this one the world of good as already starting to show signs of bleeding canker.
  10. Crown cleaning this yesterday and it was starting to flower all over but also shed it's leaves but with new 1s opening next to them and drop conkers, any 1 ells seen this?
  11. This is a particularly valid point in our house as we are always having to clear cat mess off the gravel drive, flower beds, veg beds and even lawn. The worry for me is if my son gets it on him and gets ill from it and is almost guaranteed to need to go to hospital in Newcastle as it will trigger an underlying condition he has. It narks me as when I've said something to the neighbours all I get is, not my problem, can't stop cats being cats..... No but you can stop having so many and lock the darn things up! Like said if it was a dog I'd be clearing it up and depositing it strate on to the owners front doorstep.
  12. Nearly choked watching that, from the mouth of children comes such fine truths ;-)
  13. Only if not asked for. Predictive text... Grrrrr Carelessness is what I was trying to say ;-)
  14. Looks like you had a much clearer day than we did, alway like it down by the river. Love the picture of the colly looking at the Castle
  15. Quickest way to kill your arb career I'd say! If it's an accident fine if it's blatant caresses or just not giving a poo then man up and pay up!!
  16. Yes a tenon cutter was used but a non tapered 1 from veritas, got 3, 3/4“ 1.5" and 2" then tend to use a trend fostner bit 1mm smaller to make sure it's a tight fit.
  17. Legs are all hazel with oak for the seat and backrest. Not for my kids but iv got a few to do of varying sizes for a gallery.
  18. Do you mean 5:1? Stein do 1 called the hauler system, part no. Ss-1k0060. Sure jonseys had them on the stand.
  19. Chipper course, but was tempted when he cut my 16mm lowering line in half, well 2" of the middle of a 40m line.
  20. Self motivation seems to be a recurring theme throughout this thred. Those who push themselves, self fund some additional training work hard and show them self to be worth investigating in progress quickly and reap the rewards. Those that expect to be handed it all for nothing and just turn up simply don't. This won't be true for all as everyone is different but I see it in a lad I have at the moment , always asking when he will get payed more, when am I going to put him through his chipper, when am I going to this that and another...... Really starting to piss me off as he is 21 and still don't drive, keep telling him I'll do these things if I start to see more interest, enthusiasm and he pulls his finger out and finishes his driving lessons so I don't have to pick him up.
  21. Good to meet you at the apf, looking forward to when this is released in the UK as it's simplicity suits my style, only shame is its not an add on to the existing RC3001 but at the estimated price you gave it's not going to brake the bank to invest in a whole new unit and as you state a little more robust against misuse by inexperienced groundsman than a built in shipping winch.
  22. If it's square sticking out just use a normal spanner to grip it, if it's a square sticking in use a ratchet to fit into the recess and undo it. Hop that made sense.
  23. Think a company at York has a few different size machines but there name escapes me, something like Yorkshire tree spades.
  24. Wouldn't want to be the poor sod who has to get the last bits overhanging that cliff! Looks a good machine. Had a good look at yours on Friday and was impressed with the hitching system with the tilt etc. Hardly a mark where it had been tracking around.
