  1. Refurbished my 11kw stove this year. New firebricks, glass, rope and sprayed entire stove.,looks as good as new Someone mentioned making their own firebricks using concrete. I would advise against that. Mate tried and some of the stones in it expolded and shattered tje glass. Its forty quid for a sheet of vermiculite that you can cut to size, so its not worth the aggro
  2. About £3670 plus vat. Brian james equivalent, £2560. Will order and wait at that price!
  3. What kind of cost was the trailer? Looking for similar for my avant, so i can later on use it for a digger. Lookimg at the brian james as that has similar load capacity, but lomg waiting list

    Kubota g18

kubotas hold their value well. Watch out for hairline cracks in the cutting deck. If the blades have not been balanced after sharpening, they nave have a habit of vibrating to destruction
  5. I was impressed when i hired one of these once, great little machines. What size ks it, and whats the age and hours?
  6. Its a kubota. Admittedly, its a cabless machine. Tractor and avant both have the same hard covering, but never seen a kubota seat get warn out on a digger lf any size. Depends how many times you get in and out of your cab!
  7. Do you recall the cost of it. Fancy one for my avant!
  8. Done 2600 hours on my machine, seat still as new! Must be quality made seat
  9. How does a digger seat get into such a bad condition?
  10. Cabstar can tow 3500kgs. Twin rear wheels help traction, spread the load, and good if you get a puncture on one tyre, as you can limp home and repair
  11. Not quite right, as the transit has one of the lowest payloads. Transit crew cab standard tipper, carries 750kg. Cabstar equivelent, carries 980kg. Not much difference, but a margin none the less
  12. My mate sold his cs100 last year. He has regretted that ever since, and is now considering another one!
  13. Limited slip diff is standard, and a five year warranty!
  14. Really? Mate used one had a chinese engine on. Gutless, smoked a lot, and was forever breaking down
  15. Chinese crap, with a ting tang bang engine. Buy cheap, pay twice
  16. As above. Do you know for definate the hose has the correct burst strength? If i take a busted hose to my supploer, he makes one up to the same spec, so if wrong before, its wrong again
  17. At the time, thet were 10k cheaper, amd crushed stuff twice as big! The engineering thats gone into the machine is superb, rather than tne red rhino equivelant, which is hinowa running gear and a crusher box bolted on the front. Sadly, for the forseeable, the tcp is not being made. I have brought all the stock of spares, and am managing to keep four machines running. If i see a decent secomd hand one, i will try and get it and refurbish it!
  18. Great to use the avant on a job. Brush all dropped straight to the chipper, tree cut into cord, all done and dusted by 2!
  19. Interesting your comment about the roads, i thought they were a good standard when we holidayed there last year, but compared to hertfordshire, anythings better!
  20. I brought a winch crane fro my cabstar, will lift up to 800kg with the extra pulley, but i only use it for lifting on machinery, tonne bags of logs etc. Been great, but i upgraded the winch as the supplied one was a bit slow, and i converted it to wireless. Got it off ebay for about 250
  21. Was that cheaper than buying one to run off the avant?
  22. One of my crushers jaws failed in spectacular fashion, the lower shaft being nearly 50mm thick snapped, and one of the ram lugs also sheared. Luckily,mi have a new ram, jaw, shaft all in stock, so i should get it back up and on the hire fleet before too long
  23. oh yes. Should read more carefully
