wind is like making love to a beautiful woman.......
  13. got up, read a bit of the tom clancy i'm trying to plough my way through, went on arbtalk, visited lovely bank manager and then went to the pub and sat by nice open log fire with a couple of pints of Arundel brewery's Sussex Gold, got in had ceasar salad for tea and back on arbtalk. And the landy hasn't broken down since it came back from dry dock:001_tt1:
  14. wouldn't happen to be a bowler wildcat or nemesis would it? apparently bowler's aren't doing very well in the dakar rally in argentina and chile:thumbdown:
  15. samsung m110 solid is a good phone, had mine for about six months now after a samsung m65. samsung m110 is about the same as a jcb phone with regards to the standards of shock resistance and water resistance. Got mine on http://www.mobilefun.com, sim free. And it fits in the phone pocket on stretch air trousers nicely!
  16. sounds just like a landy then:001_tongue:
  17. we weren't slating them alasdair, we were just warning you of the joys of owning a land rover. We all love them to pieces and hate them in equal quantities.
  18. bad week ed?
  19. yeah its a good show even tho' its aimed at turfcare for sportsturf. The big names aren't there every year now as they are alternating between btme and saltex to cut costs. For cylinder mowers apparently protea mowers from south africa are as good as allett et al but cheaper.
  20. as the others say probably a job for superbuzz or is that buzz's super chipper?
  21. not like a mog then buzz:001_tongue:
  22. cannot believe patrick mcgoohan is dead.
  23. honda do a mower with lockable front castors as well with cutting widths starting at 19" i think and i think it has key start as well. Tcd are you at the btme in harrogate next week? If so pm me and we could prob meet for a beer if you like.
  24. the centre steer was the original protype designed by the wilkes brothers so that it could be sold anywhere in the world without having to create seperate jigs as money was very tight at the rover company after the war which is why they built the bodies out of ally and the landy was only intended as a stopgap model to allow rover to get on its feet again but it proved so polpular it has stayed in production.
  25. have a look at the sister site of this one:- landscape talk (there's a link on the forum page).
