  1. we had a fs450 that would work for about 20min then revs would just die off till it was unusable. in some part of the carb there was a tiny little metal gauze filter that was full of grey gunk cleaned it out and it was fine after that, sorry i cant remember which exact bit of carb it was in maybe someone else can explain , but was an easy fix. hope this parts diagram link works i think the guaze is part no.24 might help or could be way off! carl https://www.google.ie/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2F2.bp.blogspot.com%2F_nOJqAqaBIwk%2FRtchjR-DltI%2FAAAAAAAABRg%2FPeUf7Y7NPVk%2Fs400%2F392ET064.JPG&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Frepuestosmaquinas.blogspot.com%2F2007%2F07%2Fillustrated-parts.html&docid=wkC8OX5TDlIPeM&tbnid=JRIwlGW3Th8_LM%3A&vet=10ahUKEwiwwNWMk6XUAhUCBcAKHamTC6UQMwgoKAIwAg..i&w=400&h=315&bih=653&biw=1366&q=fs%20450%20parts%20diagram&ved=0ahUKEwiwwNWMk6XUAhUCBcAKHamTC6UQMwgoKAIwAg&iact=mrc&uact=8

  6. what are they?, i was a bit unsure about the webbing from the moving bridge around the back of the harness, i thought it could wear, but i know nothing about harness design mind. carl
  7. was hoping to have sit in this harness today but they had sold out of my size, looked nice enough although i thought the side "D" rings looked very small. probably wouldnt of bought it as its fair bit more than the tree motion and as yet it has an unproven record in the field. anyone using on yet? carl

  10. had the exact same thing into my knuckle, had it xrayed but they couldnt see it, had to take a few different courses of antibiotics ( finish the course! i didnt and it bit me on the arse or finger in this case) weeks and weeks later i got the thorn out, not in the place where it went in though, real nuisance and lost a few days of work too. hope you get it sorted. carl

  19. id say its more a case of not knowing how blunt is blunt enough to change them which id say is down to personal preference and ease and cost of resharpening.
  20. looks interesting, will try in out for sure although i wish these new products could have really boring names and promotional videos done on crappy 25 ft back garden sycamores then maybe they could shave a few quid of the price for us!! carl

    stihl 362

the echo is 6.2 kg vs 5.6kg for the husky 560, a fair bit heavier( for my little arms anyhow!)

    stihl 362

did look at that but the specs seemed to fall short of the husky and stihl equivalent,

    stihl 362

thanks for the replies, looks like it may be a husky 560 then, although the boss is a stihl man the 261 we had has somewhat lessened his loyalty! or maybe just spruce up the 361 and see if it keeps going. thanks.
