  1. Universal truths brother. Is it really the same everywhere?
  2. My Dad managed to put a BMC taxi engine in a pre-series and a Fiat V6 into a series one. Imagine the flack he got for that at the all wheel drive club. I helped so I'm an accessory. fling your mud now!
  3. One must swear in Latin only, when it is the trees fault. Te futueo et caballum tuum !!!!!!!
  4. I think working with you sounds fun. Made me laugh, the shaking hands thing. he he he.
  5. The fact that there is such a thread is indicative of the British love affair with the Land Rover. despite its ridiculous price tag, unreliable reputation, it's still loved by so many. We Brits are still leading the quaint eccentric charge in 4x4. Like Triumph owners defiant in front of Japanese superiority. Personally All power to you, you nutters!
  6. This is where i went for harness, helmet and in my case rock shoes too. The size 1 elios is a great kids helmet. http://www.littleadventureshop.co.uk/Kids-Outdoor-Gear/Kids-Climbing/
  7. The S08, it's not what i call you, and I'm not denying human nature or the impulse to react. I was pointing out that THE law terms you a criminal if you break it. I've spent my adult life trying and sometimes changing the laws I think are unjust. This fight is not always as easy as slapping someone, some times it takes dedication , patience, courage, all the things that make a man. Like many on this forum I believe the law is an ass. But I also respect it. Without it we are lawless. As groovy as this may sound, believe me a lawless society is chock full of rape and murder, Taliban anyone? I think I should be able to shoot members of the BNP, builders that whistle at women, Alan Carr, Celine Dion, middle lane drivers, call centre managers, Mika, George Bush and anything else I deem room 101able. I do not act on this impulse thankfully because it's illegal and for what it's worth Immoral. Human nature evolves every second of everyday, constantly. There is no way to say definitively, there, that's human nature, because it's moved on already. I am obliged to say that this is my opinion as it stands today. tomorrow it may be different.
  8. Good for you Dean i would have jumped in also. It's a weeky occurance that I have to front someone up for some anti social behavoir from making grannies walk round groups of youths into roads, to parking in disabled bays to the absolute classic of littering. Blame is such afunny thing isn't it. Parents usually, education sometimes, lack of prper punishment, maybe. it's a difficult one for sure, with many complex issues to navigate around, so it was with dismay that I see the usual reactions to this never change from national service and hanging to beating people up. Accusations of nanny states mix with accusations of soft states. Criminals are people who break the law. No matter what morality you have, this is the facts. Taking the law into your own hands and breaking it, makes you a criminal. Criminals should be hung, castrated, beaten up or made to join the army. Ridiculous logic. If someone was beaten up badly, would breaking into their car be sufficient punishment for the crime? Shouldn't the punishment fit the crime? Derek Bently anyone? 21st century boys time to get civilized.
  9. Are there two separate conversations happening here? Or are they the same one and two of you are just using mechanical metaphores? Clutch? Engine out? Corrrrrrrr!
  10. `Wife made' Tea and new gloves Andy? I cant imagine what could be added to your life to improve it. What a lucky guy you are. I'm off to look at my old gloves and imagine your joy is my own.
  11. Is that beyond COD 4? I only played up to 3 on PC. Online multuplayer. Can be very addictive. Arbtalk is helping me off COD like methadone.
  12. bloody hell bring us all down again.
  13. Steve is this the right time and place?
  14. Good to see this thread is countering the recession, bombings in Gaza and the contiued wars in Iraq and Afganistan. Keep it up. I had a nice cup of tea brought to me by my wife, just 5 mins ago. So I'm all jollied up too.
  15. I don't understand how this fits into the rest of the thread. Who is hugo? his website is better than what? Why are you mentioning web sites and Hugo? Or have you come from the `angry kid' thread? Maybe your not a mentalist at all, and its me that's missed something?
  16. Hello, yes, the plastic used to make the chain break has become more brittle. I have never known a chain break to snap before, that includes on saws dripped out of trees! But over the last few years this has been on the increase, and on saws just parked up against each other in the truck. The breather problem continues, never had any issues with 020s. I gather a few people have had carb problems too. It's still a king amongst saws, so i'm not `dissing' it, I just think Stihl wants to not rest on it's laurels too much.
  17. The first pic was taken somewhere in here then? Great place.
  18. Not the numeracy of the effects, more the amount. What did they look like before the SFX?
  19. Presumably you are at gunpoint.
  20. I've used all 3 of the saws in the initial post enough to justify why i would only use the Stihl. The Echo was nicknamed the toy town saw by my work colleagues. The build quality is significantly low, although it's lightness is a novelty. It has too many minor bad points to recommend it The Husky on the other hand has too many major bad points to mention here. Suffice to say it is an appalling piece of equipment. Badly balanced, with illogical switch positions and under developed design. Avoid! I had to review this saw once and I spent quite a lot of time weighing it up. I ended up with Tennis and Golf elbow in both arms as a result of the testing. The MS200T steadily gets worse every year, but is still head and shoulders above anything available. I will be interested/suprised if anyone can recommend any saw above the Stihl.
  21. If anyone is seriously interested in music, and I mean seriously, here's a good website at the cutting edge. It's run by John Peels son, so has a pedigree. Make of it what you will. Not for x factor fans.
  22. Caning the old photoshop there. Steady on.
  23. Hey Tim. Tell us more about the Tube situation. Pretty much everyone uses copyright music. Why were you singled out?
