  1. I guess I have the same feelings about people who are lazy, which is what this comes down to. that and the morals of a thief. So I agree with you to a certain extent. But the amount of people doing this has been exaggerated by the press, for political means. But as someone who gets great pride and satisfaction from sweating lke abastard all day, I just don't understand why someone would not want to work, it defines us. Back to the fatty thing....pay them to loose weight by working as Graham suggested earlier. I'm not nieve, I just have compassion mixed in with the same indignant streak so many of you have on this thread. Does that make sense? How come you know where I live? that's a bit scary. You stalker you.
  2. It's along way to the top if you wanna rock n roll
  3. My business account is with HSBC and has been for 20 years. I've found them helpful when I've needed a loan in the past, you actually get to speak to a person when you need too. Fees arnt horrendous either. But at the end of the day it is a bank and as such I expect them to get nasty soon.
  4. That's high praise indeed. I'll check it out. I have a soft spot for early AC/DC.
  5. First was The Stranglers Rattus Norvegicus, last was Mogwai , the Hawk is Howling. Good list you guys. Not too many embarrasing moments so far.
  6. Tax evaders are leaches are they not, with their off shore accounts and bentleys.
  7. My good friend Shane across the road from me is paralised from the waist down. Wheel chair bound because of a motorcycle accident at an early age. Is he a sponger? If we're talking about people who are defrauding the system, then that's wrong. It's impossible to be a lifer these days. the system asks for proof of need proof that your looking for work. If someone is short term or long term unemployed then there's usually a good reason for it. The amount of people who genuinely fall into the sponger braket is very small indeed. The amount of money they sponge is also very small. I've worked all my life except for 6 months. I've known grafting since I was a small boy. I beleive in working to earn money, it gives you a sense of worth, a work ethic and discipline. But as long as laws arn't being broken I'm happy for the long term unemployed to claim. It's their loss after all not ours. The UK is a rich country and we don't know real poverty, anyone in need of a reality check should look to the starving millions in Africa. then we'd have something to complain about. Robin Hood anyone?
  8. I've been on the dole once, for 6 months. The dole is absolute hell. Can't go anywhere cant do anything cant buy anything. I'm not talking about the small minority's who have grabbed the attention of the country through the sensational reporting of the tabloids. Most Claimants are not having a great time, and we don't know why people are claiming. i think it would be arrogant to tar everyone with the same brush. Especially when there is only very poor reporting to back up such claims. There are a few tree surgeons about to lose work and or one reason or another they may have to start claiming dole. Are they spongers, are we all spongers of the future. If anyone chooses to be on the dole over having ajob, then the're welcome to it. For that amount of people it will cost me 10p a year. We could just eliminate unemployed, terminally ill, mentally and physically disabled, insane, poor, ugly, gay, jewish, Arab, blacks, communist and gypsies as these are the usual groups that are picked on. A small man from Austria had a similar idea a few years ago and many British soldiers lost their lives fighting such ideas. If you have a problem with any of these groups above I see you as a traitor to this country and the ideals we have lost lives protecting. There are some evil people walking around, who are responsible for murder torture and rape. Our own country has it's own population of criminals living it up with champagne every day. Leave the Vicky pollards alone, their lives are **** enough already. To be honest the small amount of money we can attribute to lazy claimants is minuscule. If we you I are really bothered about people who are essentially stealing from us, we should bother to aim our sites at the biggest targets. does this not make sense. Anyone can pick on the weakest in society. It's called bullying where I come from. Like I said either your bothered or you have another Axe to grind. Look for references in any reporting. John gummers annex is to the right of the house towards the field as you look at it. It's in keeping with the house, not badly done. This was about 15 years ago. I was planting an avenue of trees in his garden. I had a chat with his body guards. What a horrible man. Quite worn out now.
  9. Hey the Stocker08, right idea, wrong target. If we're talking about killing people who are draining the economy. Maybe we should look at the biggest perpetrators first. Corporate tax evasion, the Bankers involved in the latest financial melt down that's affecting us all. Anyone getting paid cash and not paying tax on it. The conservative MP sir John Gummer had the tax payer pay for an enormous extension on his manor house. This was ok'd by parliment as he said it was for his personal police body guard. Who in turn said they prefered to stay outside in the car. The bulding cost K250. Now houses a full size snooker table. Not all parasites are worthy of a story in the tabloids. Our biggest spongers are not the poor ones, blatently, they'd be rich if they were. They are just the easiest to pick on. Boycott Mc donalds if you want to save the country some money. And remember all cancer is self inflicted.
  10. Lee started this thread a year ago. I guess we can answer his question now can't we. Here I am sitting at my computer in the middle of the day. Posts on arbtalk in the day are up too.
  11. I found some very wrong gay dog stuff. Not posting here. But it's out there. I used to have some gay geese. They wern't camp, just gay. good guard geese they were too.
  12. genius has become genei. There must be a gay dogs website or at least a magazine. DAGS!
  13. All dogs are gay. I don't think it would be cruel to shave them or use imac and then give em tattoos. Dog tats, brilliant idea, especially facial ones. Do dogs have faces? I know about the faeces. But spider webs and cut here ones would be rad. maybe a pastoral scene of Suffolk on the side of an otherwise super gay rotweiler. I think I'm a genius some days
  14. La sportiva footwear suitable for tree climbing...Rock jocks! Low cut, so no ankle protection. Trango s...good scrambling boot. http://www.lasportiva.com/inglese/homepage.php
