  1. Every branch dictates the method best used to get to the end. Sometimes just having fun and running along it as if to do a great big swing to another branch works just fine. Dropping down from well above with the clutch fully depressed a doing a big kick off works too. I guess you've got to enjoy that sort of thing to get more confident at it. The sloth thing at speed works well too. Momentum is your friend. balance can be gained from simply balancing on everything you see. Avoid sycamore in the rain.
  2. Crispy scabs and tears.
  3. I havn't heard that for yonks. When some one was getting angry, we would say "Gurt veins on neck stikin rite out yer!!" `Where'd you catch the bus to' means where do you catch the bus from. The west country is a law unto itself init
  4. Sorry to interupt. Ed answer your mail or i'll clump you again. willow! who's gonna beleive that?
  5. I'm enjoying my Epson TW680 projector. 55Inch screen area on the wall, old fashioned Linn stereo speakers either side. I'm not a fan of surround sound. Rupe, I've never heard of this screen paint, I'm projecting onto white emulsion. picture quality is great. I do not like HD for movies, think it makes everything look like US TV. I like the look of light passing through celluloid as much as possible. I will check out the paint though. Yep, I love home cinema too. Hate big TVs bad picture ugly box.
  6. The nose doth runneth like the dribbling mouth of a traitorous coward. That and the eye brow. least twas not thy eye, for that... what am I doing?
  7. Fookin top claret doofin.
  8. Nice shape at the end John. Nothing wrong IMO with mewps in the right place. Indiscriminate use is, well..indiscriminate.
  9. Not my pic (found on google) but this is the one I saw.
  10. Yes saw that tree amazing. Pretty sure I've got picture somewhere.Yes the women are beutiful for sure. How did you get the work? I bet you were paid buttons.
  11. I couldn't agree more. Theres a direct correlation between them and not getting off their fat ones; and accidents in the industry. I blame the HSE for chainsaw accidents. They may well have hands tied by lack of man power, but you'd think every now and again they'd have a pop at cleaning out the dead wood. Grumble grumble.
  12. Your a good dad. They did it in all innocence, and what could you do? Nice one.
  13. I need more knot knowledge. Where can I get this book guys?
  14. Really??!! Is she a tank driver or does she make them. I feel slightly scared of her as she's drunk the bleech and the rabid dog is acting as her interpreter as she only speaks esparanto. What a strange lady.
  15. your so west country.
  16. I feel weird
  17. There's some distortion in the avater matrix coupling. I'm going in to try to fix it. Tell Mr Ed to hold tight, His identity is in a perilous vortex conundrum. Khriss, I just found your sis in here she's got a rabid dog and bleech.......
  18. With or without blackcurrent?
  19. I have been to BA a few times and they have some amazing trees in that City, never saw any work being done on them. What was your experience like? Were you outside of BA? How did you get work there? etc.
  20. Does it lock closed and open? Looks like a RTA knife for seatbelts.
  21. Do you mean Pentax PK fitting. Yes there is a pentax digital that takes this fitting, but be aware the small chip will increase the focal length of the lenses. I'd do aweb search to find out more if I were you. FM2? classic.
  22. Good point. I have a camera for every occasion, from compact to medium format. For our industry out in all weathers, there are a few small waterproof compacts about. I have still to get one, and fit it to my harness.
  23. This is my dad [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=o2oZWpqtNi4[/ame]
  24. The Ricoh GX200, Canon G10 or the Panasonic lumix Lx3 are all good spec'd cameras. The Canon has suffered with internal dust problems in earlier models. I havn't checked the user forums lately to see if this has been rectified. I have a G7 which is great apart from the dust thing. Bridge camera? I'm not familiar with the term.
  25. Sorry for parading exotic ideas in front of you. If i had £350, i'd buy a top end compact, or go the second hand market on ebay or try magazines for second hand dealers. Do not buy second hand from Jessops!!! Good luck chap.
