  1. when you lift your foot up try NOT kick your heel back. Just try a simple knee raise as if you were standing on the floor! By doing so this will help to keep the rope into the back of the body of Pantin. Also if you try and make sure your rope is hanging dead straight, as if there are deviations this will change the angle of the rope hence changing the exit angle out of the pantin and causing it too pop out. hope make made sense? If all else fails go out and buy the new shampoo called pan-tin-pro-vee, its sure to help all the problems over having. lol
  2. ha ha classic, im such a tit.
  3. I get my info from a Larry Page mate, do you now him
  4. Example: single lane closure with traffic light control on a straight road, and the cars can see who is stopped by the lights or who's not. So you want too put both lights on red so you can just free fall the branches into the road. Whilst doing all this an impatient driver! races through as he thinks the lights are faulty. A way i dealt with this to stop it from happening you need to go to the extent of either putting tape across the road or have a few cones in the road also. the simplest of things are never as straight forward when dealing with the public, you just have to go a little further to prevent the inevitable. It doe not matter how much you! if there is a incident there will be someone blame. Its just a matter of is it us or them.
  5. Well we all know the public can be a right bunch of numptys, and that was a perfect example. I dont think it was a big issue, everyone else apart from that hoodied cyclist stopped. I personally like the abuse from the climber!! 10 out of 10 getting the job done in my eyes, we need less paperwork and more common sense in this day in age. cough cough I'm off

  10. Good work James, nice to see your work.
  11. Ill seconded that. Case dismissed.
  12. There really should be I like button on the video page. Nice place and job that. Thanks for the share. Oh and safe trip
  13. Okay cool I thought you'd been working with them like that. Stay safe
  14. Can't help with the wrench set up! But you should definantly make your tails on your friction hitch a bit longer. Other than that ill get back to you when I've dabbled in the ZK-2 more.
  15. So you seen it, cool beans ill wait till next year, next step is ZK-2 I'm afraid.
  16. All depends on your fetish, Velcro or leather!for me I'm Velcro as its more adjustable for comfort. I've worn to many spike with hole in the wrong place I had to make more and eventually they need replacing. And it's all to do with fastening the Velcro after use take them off so all the saw dust don't stick to them.
  17. Is that a function you can rate as I'm sure it's attached to your line right now as we speak. Anyway I don't know the last time I mid tied a my main line friction hitch apart from a second system but that is usually a Prussik, so I don't think that's a problem.
  18. Even pending on what type of friction hitch you use and how high (cough) you are above your anchor point it's possible it won't lock out until you've aided it in some way.
  19. Just watched the video but it kinda look like there is a very very small amount which to me would say otherwise. But it's not really worth quibbling about. Look at 50secs on this video for it to fully engaged it need to extend http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=tfsrsgFB1ms&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DtfsrsgFB1ms But that's just my view? If I were to say lock jack or zig zag I'd say wait for the zig zag.
  20. Lots of fun too, I really must have a dig in the garage to see if its still there
  21. Nice to hear you took the plunge! Now you can add £300 to most of your jobs if people round your way charge like that for when you get similar jobs!
  22. Well you might be right, there is a time and place for everything. But two hands are better and we all use a saw one handed at some point. As for it leaving tidy cuts your defiantly right about that.
