Yeah as i RED it (joke) he is not earning much and he must be working on his own, after the amount his company earns a year he wouldnt have much left to pay some one. what with taking into account the running costs of his business.

This is a good example for rates of pay for the self employed but what do most people pay the guys that work for them on PAYE. Could you share your rates as it would be great to see how much difference there is on the amount someone gets paid on PAYE

I would say that it depends on the type of person really, if you cant handle the accounts then you should hire an accountant, as it would be more productive to do things that make you money. If you are a person that can do them all then great, i'd guess your £££ in. Personally if you can pay someone to do a job properly then you should. After all why do people hire arborists.
