  1. Bit of a delay the reply sorry!! Mainly i brought GoPro for the price it's waterproof and protective case that you can mount in many places, just need a good imagination. i have been using it on a few jobs recently. I can say you'll need to buy second battery. Has your camera turned up yet!
  2. I also purchased a wood burner from them! I got the Louis ranger. It's currently in my lwb sprinter which I converted in to a camper. Well worth it in my opinion.
  3. Nice one Josh, I did get the GoProHD. Visor ehh whats that?
  4. Cheers steve, I am going to mount mine this week and going to make some other type of mounts for different angles
  5. Lot of guys and gals seem to be using helmet cams now which is great, but where have you found best to mount yours, At the front On the top To the side
  6. The best advice I can give Is to just enter and find out, by doing this you can then see where you will need to do better, and then use your work time as your training ground. Is doesn't matter where you come at all as long as you enjoy yourself and try not to take it too seriously then when things can go wrong. Hope this helps and good luck.
  7. Throw line does work well for retrieving, it is generally a good idea to always lower your mobile anchor device as you life depend on it. I have had my pulleySAVER now for around 3 months now and I have been guilty of letting it fall on to Tarmac and the odd Kerbs and those really annoying garden rocks that people like to have at the base of trees. And can say that it puts up with allot of abuse and I'm sure it will for allot more time.
  8. Not in the UK or the Euros!! just the Germans
  9. I'm sure it will Get stuck like all other savers out there, but I have to say that the pulley saver does retrieve better than most In my opinion! You can even still retrieve it when you have a revolver installed on the Beckett.

  13. Sounds good to me and the weather looks like it will be on top form too! AccuWeather.com - United Kingdom | Sevenoaks Weather Forecast
  14. Cheers Justin, be good to meet you finally! I hope someone will have some nice strong coffee there, by the time i get there i will need some good old :coffee:
  15. I think i might go on Saturday i fly in to Heathrow at 09:00hrs it takes 1hr from there but so i could get there for 10:30hrs. Can you just turn up and enter or do you have to be there by a certain time to register.
  16. This might seem a little random, but i have no roll in the uk-i chapter tcc. this is solely research for myself on working out what the climber want out of a comp if i was to plan one event. keep your responses coming Steve, I dont't have the answer for that sorry cheers Stuart
  17. thats the plan after all its a holiday
  18. If it was done on a weekend with a bank holiday monday the gear check would be done from 4pm-6 then walk around, at least you olnly have too have one day off work then, (4-days off if your self employed)
  19. pete, sorry have seen you or spoke much of late, my apologies. its possible to get 70max through in one day and just have the foot lock speed climb and masters the next day.
  20. that price is a rough figure at the moment, but with the numbers not looking that good as the response seems low (thanks to those that do), with out planning more and working out if i will get the go ahead to do anything then this is just a very rough guide. but the prices in the poll include everything but guy and girls this is not pay less get more. think of it as granny would say "buy cheap buy twice" three day yes and it cut of for the amount of climbers that i need to talk to people first and sort that out.
  21. If would if i was in a position to do so. hint hint:001_smile: i for won would have three categories expert novice and students all with there own prizes for each category. and there would ideally be a free pasta party too and then every one can meet and chat and get cliquy baby!!!! but i would say that the price for entering would have too be £65 at least. for the entry fees to cover such event but it would be a good one and venue is key. Stuart
  22. I would say it has more to do with the points that John has made. Recession might just give people a reason to not go, but that because there are also 4event a year england.
  23. John, The isa big weekend i didnt even know it happend, as far as no entry form and not allot else, so your not alone on that one. I do not have any involment to the ISA but i hope things change. As this whole topic is about gaining inforamtion so i can see what people want out of a comp. So let keep this thread going its making great reading. and you did not come over rude just honest!
