  2. Evening all, As most of you are aware the new copies are now available, i've just ordered mine from Treesource for a price of £89.00. Just making you all aware that from June 1st 2012 the price will go up to £178.00 so get your orders in asap.
  3. Interesting thread Tony, i understand where you're coming from fella, keep up the good work.
  4. Hi Steve i have just got it too, looks fantastic fella.
  5. The tree looks alive to me, remove the ivy & inspect, thin out the tips to remove some weight & reduce the sail area. What's going on with the stem top left on pic two? looks like some bark damage?
  6. Hi there, are you sure it's a black Cedar-(Thuja occidentalis)? it looks more like a Pinus radiata to me.
  7. Could you send me your email address Jamie, how's tricks mush?
  8. I was also a bit puzzled about them not showing all the pass rates for the different exercises & i was hopeing for a report how i did in the one's i failed on, that would have really helped me out but as you've said there is some really good pointers that will benefit me for my re-sits.
  9. Hi all, ABC have emailed me a copy of the examiners report for June's written & October's management day. If it would be of any help to anyone re-sitting this year then pm me & i'll email it to you, Thanks.
  10. I'm 36 in 2 weeks & still have the hunger for it.
  11. I take it you mean Quercus virginiana - The southern live oak, i can't really tell from the pics, sorry but i'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out.
  12. Well tomorrow is Monday & like most Mondays i will be eating left over roast dindins sandwiches & will be the envy of the yard.
  13. Not sure whether the nails will kill the tree as the tree will compartmentalize the small wounds also does copper really kill trees? i don't know but to me it does look like the neighbour has intended to slowly kill the tree off. If the tree were to die i would presume it would start showing signs of dieback in the canopy & would be removed long before it fell over.
  14. When you say bulbosa are you refering to Armillaria gallica? sorry still new to this:blushing:
  15. I'll have a guess at it being Armillaria tabescens?
  16. Here's a few reductions from me:001_smile:
  17. £800 + a day down in Crawley, phone around for prices & also check with the companies that they have experience with tree dismantle.
