  1. Steve i can do this for you if it's still required?
  2. Hi Paul, Many thanks for your reply. If i am reading this correctly, i am now certified as a level 4 even though when i passed my Tech Cert it was a level 3? Many thanks, Glen.
  3. Can anyone tell me if the Tech cert is still classed as a level 3 or is it now a level 4. Many thanks, Glen
  4. Hi Andy, yes it is in Rustington. I have been instructed to provide a report with recommendations. There is an unbelievable amount of OAP's around. Lovely area to live in.
  5. Thanks for the replies. Here's a couple more photo's
  6. Hi yes it is growing on the soil
  7. Just seen this at the base of a Beech tree. Looks like it could be Chondrostereum purpureum but i am not sure that it is. Anyone out there know what it is?
  8. Did the three day course earlier this year. Guy Watson was the tutor. Quite a bit to learn and very enjoyable.
  9. I'll have a stab at Acer negundo
  10. If the tree isn't under a TPO or in a Conservation area and you do not need to enter their side of the garden or airspace then you should be able to get on with it. If you were to prune the tree in such a way that it became unstable you could be liable in the event of the tree falling & causing injury or damage. Three important cases to read up on are Lemon v Webb 1894, Pointing v Oaks 1894 & Crowhurst v Amersham 1878. I hope this is of some help.
  11. Not 100% certain but being a Pine i would have a guess at it being a young Phaeolus Schweinitzii or Heterobasidion annosum.
  12. I saw this today whilst pricing a job in Poplar, London. Pretty cool so I thought I would share.
  13. I would mate but they keep cracking. How are you doing my old friend?
  14. Sorry Paul, I'll empty my mail box right away. Nice to see you today David even though it was very brief. I have had to leave the conference early due to work commitments, annoying but I had a good day. Looking forward to the next one. I spoke with Quintin Nicholls David as we are now using Arbortrack, I am attending their forum & he told me you maybe attending? If so I look forward to catching up with you there.
  15. I'm there tomorrow. Will be nice to meet up.
  16. I'm going tomorrow. Anyone else going? Would be nice to catch up with some old faces.
  17. Yes she is still standing David & i am hoping to swing by soon to have another look. It's fantastic to be able to leave nature to its own devices when there is no targets.
  18. Just going through my old phone & i came across these photo's i took down in East Sussex in 2012.
  19. I have advised the client that due to the target area it is best to remove. I think he may be getting a second opinion though as he would like to retain the tree.
  20. Came across this back garden beech last week with Meripilus. Very impressive fungi.
  21. If it is Phytophthora, could the tree recover from this? or will it just decline further? The owner would like to keep the tree if possible.
