  1. Took the words right out of my mouth!!
  2. Lets just pray for fine weather - If its nice I’ll bet a months salary as to where you’ll find the Arbtalkers.
  3. Good pictures Kat1e, I think all arbs should be encouraged to randomly record what they find interesting as they walk - makes it very interesting for the rest of us.
  4. Me, Friday & Saturday. Link to the F/B event page - Log in | Facebook
  5. I’ve trained this little chap to land on Arbs heads and tap, tap, tap – he can then tell from the resonance if there is sufficient matter inside to enable Arbs to go through the PTI, saves a whole lot of time and bother..
  6. Nice one David – The little chap is looking surprisingly ‘crisp n sharp’ round the edges. Wish him luck for the PTI - he’s bound to do better than I did…
  7. Picture 5 is excellent – Truck, chipper and a MEWP – proper little set-up.
  8. The best advise I can give is pay particular attention to Tree Fertilisation, i.e. don’t just skip through that section in the study guide (its not so big over here but much bigger over in the states). That was the only module that caught me out and had to do the re-sit at Capel – which wasn’t so bad as that’s how I discovered the show.
  9. Stunning! Hope to see you at Bredon school open day ?
  10. I’ve done this course, with Dave at this location and can highly recommend it! The place is an inspiration! Your sat in the Oak Hall surrounded by wonderful trees, fellow arbs and can pick the brain of the main-man himself! Sadly in-between me passing the theory my marriage fell apart and I didn’t have it in me to attend the management day. All was not lost however as I learnt loads – Go For It Guys!!
  11. Smashing Vid and great music (and right on my doorstep to). Get any big jobs mate and I’ll come and take some pictures – handy for your website..
  12. I think we're skilled..... so to every one who disagrees!
  13. I’ve bought Matt some lovely new Timberland gloves as well! I’ve have ‘em back off him if he’s not careful! lol
  14. Mark, I was too busy filming lol. To be fair – when Matt put the gob in he cut through healthy wood, not a sign of decay. We only had a small bar on the ‘66 so I guess Matt decided to bore into it, pull rope was up – there was only one way that was going to come down. Thanks for your comments though – we’ll stop and have a think on the next Lime we do.
  15. That was in the good'ol days - Bish, Bash, Bosh!
  16. My mate and I used to roam the countryside for hours armed with these – Happy Days!
  17. We did a big cedar the other day, used the Big-Shot for the 1st. time in ages….firing cones at the climber – Brilliant Fun!! Used to have a black widow when I was a young hooligan, Diablo’s were better – class catapults.
  18. Cheers Steve, the cutters name is Matt (one of my new lads) and the best climber I’ve had – puts my felling to shame.
  19. Knock yourself out mate.. Think I should get a prize for pic no.8 - 'twas a close-call!
  20. What a find!! Lets hope its not cleared-up for fire-wood and H&S..
