  2. After months of looking for right truck or van ect to get for tree work i have broke iot down into 3. 1 / Canter - 23,000 kahuna's ( ouch ) 150bhp 3.0L 2 / New Iveco Daily - around 18,000 ? also a 3.0L and 150 bhp. lighter than Canter. 3 / Landrover and tiimberwolf tw150. budget 15,000 for both..but would like to get one for cheaper than that. 6. shredder... you having a laugh. Simples...save up and buy a van..or get another tree surgery company in to chip it..but most guys with chipper will charge prob more than what a small tree worth to chip and dump it. 15. Milled my first trunk today. nice chunk of ash. What do i do now? heard you paint the ends...what with? How do i stack the timber? how long to dry. the ash had lovely dark thick lines running up it..very happy with the timber...so i want to get it right when drying it out. Cheers
  16. arborcoms are good. they put productivity up by 15%. simple things like turning off chainsaw tell groundie whats happening take up time. working near busy roads, they are very good.
  17. spoke to arborcom today..they will sort them out asap. also refund me money for posting. Fr jones and sons sorted it out fast and i am grateful for that. Just got worried that i had thrown away 700 kahuna's
  18. tell me about it. had my eye on them for a while and been saving up to get them for a while. I bought them on the 09/09/2009. they have a 28 day return policy. yesterday was the 28th day. see what happens. They seem to switch on but i can't connect them and one of the lights ain't working.
  19. Bought arborcoms less than 1 month ago. they are not working anymore. tried best to repair them. Only used lightly 3 times and now one of the lights doies not work...for 700 qiud...i am very dissapointed. Anyone else had problems with them?
