  1. yeah i think tax credits are awesome. at 250 a month i have manyaged to get new playstation and loads of games for it. Cani beat it!
  2. yeah got a taker for it. had many calls from this add and have got your details for anything else that comes up. Got couple tons of within the next couple weeks if you want it....but like i said its only use to me if you can take large loads away.
  3. Size and Strength are 2 complete different things. Gymnasts are not that big but havbe more power and strength in there bodies than any body builder.
  4. my wording was a but impulsive..but i do not back down from what i say. Tree work will make you weaker..if you do it on top of training. 5 days a week heavy climbing and doing strength training will make you weaker. It called overtraining! If you want to get strong at squats..do you squat loads everyday? The exact same goes for arms if you want to be able to pull yourself around a tree easily then you can't train your arms everyday..and climbing is training your arms everyday...so your arms will get weaker! Though if you have never done any hard training before..then tree work will get you a bit stronger to start with. someone said what a loads of bollocks that i am got another climber in to do tree for myself..well its something i plan to do often..because climbing conflicts with my personal interests.
  5. Please stop de-railing the thread. I Think anyone else who is serious about there training..in whichever sport etc they do ..will no fine well that too much tree work makes you lose strength energy and has a negative effect. you must be a 10st little weed if you don't understand.
  6. Climbing for couple days in a row good for you? No..like runnng everyday isn't good for you. Chronic fatigue is why most tree surgeons have flexability of an oak tree. For example using you arms everday to climb will only make you arms weaker...like doing chinups everday would. Lifting Logs everyday is same as doing deadlifts too much..will make you weak. Only need to look at tree surgeons who climb 5 days a week...generally the are small 10 stone guys with not mich strength. They do develop endurance..like a runner..but not strength. If you are looking for pro evidence log onto dragondoor.com and ask professional atheletes what they think. The funniest thing is that most tree surgeons think they are really fit. lol
  7. The truth is that if you don't feck them they will feck you over! stop claiming tax credits..then you pay tax and are even more out of pocket!
  8. If in Doubt..cut it out!
  9. Jobs done and timber is away. Skyhuck maybe your life is all about tree work..but mine ain't..its a job where i can earn good money fast and still have flexabilty to do what i love which is training, training and more training. Climbing makes you weak unless ofcourse its the only physical thing you do. FACT. Tim done the job ..and done a great job of it too. Real Good Arborist! ( Check out the Video )
  10. Mick i think your avater suits you well. John wayne - ignorant racist! :001_smile: Honest though..single mothers shouldn't get money to help them survive? what about the new scheme...pay fat people to lose weight?
  11. I think the prob is the single guys that don't want to work. they job centre offers them jobs and they turn them down just because ' its not there ideal job ! ' I grew up in a small town with no jobs..i buzzed of the america just to get full time work! and that was when i was 21. Nowadays everyone just blames they country they are in for not getting work instead of getting of there arses and putting the work in. They world is your oyster!
  12. sorry mate..But WTF! Don't you think its a bot offensive to post this up? Some people need tax credits because maybe they have kids and the husband dies..you thought about that numpty?
  13. hey i have a few lengths of oak and elm lying around. 4 chunks each about 1.5 metres long. been lying outside for about a year now and not doing anythng with it. As long as they make me something they can have it !

  16. yip. thats right. Prob 3 days climbing for someone who wants the work. Could do it myself but opening a gym strength training gym next year and outdoor kettlebell classes after xmas and need all my physical energy for that.

  21. he obviously doesn't or never has climbed himself. tell him you will wear them..but don't expect to get much done in a day!
  22. should put big bucks on it and take rest of week off! for that hassle i would charge a fair bit
  23. don't want to state the obvious but tidy up ropes before chipping. Actually tidy up all gear before chipping.. don;t know how many people i've seen draggin branches around or over gear tpo the chipper..simple put everything in neat pile.
