  1. RIP Jose' Bro. My thoughts go out to all involved and who knew your brother.
  2. After a hard wet day at work. Ballistics were hung up on the chippers etc to dry out before the next day at work. We tie wrapped the inside of the balistic material as tight as possible and on certain brands it is unnoticeable from the outside. When the owner of the trousers tries to put them on they will usually fall over. Works really well on the larger type of groundie... like a weable falling over, only they don't pop back up!
  3. No shortage of 'corn beef legs' in the winter.
  4. Mate, how hard is it to grasp? The manufacturer have said to stop using so why are you still climbing on it? Fwiw, if it fails you only have yourself to blame as they have issued the stop. So what if you have the o ring of a Johny on it to stop it rotating... Do you also run with scissors aswell..?
  5. Or just do as requested and stop climbing on the device until you hear more from the manufacturer.
  6. I did a reduction yesterday based on a consultants report. The consultant specified such a small amount to be removed that the TO on discussion. Said it was minimal and no need to apply for consent of works. Really was a pointless exercise but the customer was happy and we got paid.
  7. I live 40 minutes drive away. I didn't go as I had a feeling... It is a real shame.
  8. 20 people there? Oh dear what has happened to this show? If only the powers that be at Capel had been more proactive. I used to really enjoy this show. Unfortunately, unless the organiser pull their thumb out of their arse, I fear it will continue to dwindle...
  9. Tony, do you have to pre register for the climbing comp? Just I have a bit of a shoulder injury that I am getting over. If on the day and I feel up for it, is it possible to have a climb? Cheers Rich.
  10. Thats 2 people from Stockton on Tees... who'd have thunk it? Plus me, so thats 3... I grew up there and have had many a good time in Preston Park. From being chased by showmen at one of the fares. After he turned his back, we managed the impossible... to get the rubber ring around the skittle with a 20 pound note on it. He wasn't amused. Also spent many a summer evening in motors over the back fields. Also used to go running around the grounds. Now I tend to take the kids there whenever I am back up North. Did the climb ever go ahead?
  11. I find gloves work best for my feet.
  12. Jonny are you whiter than white? You sure talk like you think you are. Why all the animosity towards the original poster? Was it you he was working for?
  13. Ross Smith is over your way isnt he mate? Have you tried him?
  14. Get your Mam or Nan to do it then if you feel stitching is beneath you.
  15. This is better than Crossroads ever was!
  16. :blushing: Sorry ran out of green and gold. Mmmm, Red, Gold and Green whipping. Jah Rules!
  17. Riggin line.
  18. Yeah, I loved the blue guys style. So relaxed but with impeccable timing.
  19. Watched this last night. Cracking technical fight from Lumpinee Stadium last week. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4gE6wjddvc]Pornsanae Sitmonchai vs Palangtip Nor Sripung - Lumpinee Stadium 9th April 2013 - YouTube[/ame]
  20. Nice vid mate. I think Henry could have let a couple of the bits run more. Especially the higher up as there can be a lot more movement. As you found out on a couple if bits.
  21. Nice work. Nice hinge jared. Did you have time to film it Reg? It sounded a balls out day so understand if you didn't get footage. Pics are great.
  22. Are those close calls not warning enough? It is a simple thing really mate
  23. Littlerob, are you being serious mate? I really can't comprehend how the click of a chainbreak can irritate some people so much. Click, click... What's the big deal? I don't always use it myself I must admit, but if feel the need then I will. I probably use it a lot more when climbing, but saying that I always ensure my topper has a correctly tensioned chain. A creeping chain caught the tails of my climbing line years ago and even though it wasn't spinning fast it still left a nasty scuff on it. One thing that does yank my chain, is seeing beginner not using the chainbreak. They are not experienced in how the saw would react if something happened so not using one is just fool hardy. But to say it is the click, click of the actual mechanism that pee's me off it jus plain silly. There are a hell of a lot of things in life to get wound up by.
